Chapter 27. Patricia's POV
I am going on a date today with Kelvin. I couldn't hold in my happiness. It's not a date but I'm still happy about it.
We left the back house and headed for the birthday party of his beta's friend. When we got to the venue we went in and was greeted by Kelvin's mates' friend I met at the mall. But what are they doing here?.
I looked at Kelvin and he seems to be looking for something or rather someone. He looked stressed. David showed us to our table and in an instant, the celebrant arrival was announced.
Kevin didn't mind and was just sitting down on a chair, thinking about something but after a few seconds, he seemed to have perceived something or someone's presence as he turned around instantly and looked towards the door, and stood up with anger all over his face. I followed his gaze and saw his mate entering the venue with her hand wrapped around a guy who I guess is her date.
