Chapter 86: Day 51 (day)

Ella fought down a yawn and tried to gain some semblance of control over her hair as she shuffled her way into the vast kitchen. Their night had been rough, to say the least, and her hair refused to cooperate even after her morning shower. With the occasional grunt in reply to some far too cheery greetings tossed her way, she pulled her still damp hair back into a low ponytail as she made her way to the quieter end of the kitchen that Yoanna and Sinn seemed to have claimed as their own. If she hadn’t been so tired and had actually had more than a passing interest in cooking, she might have been jealous at how they had managed to gain that space under the watchful glower of the formidable woman that held sway over the kitchens there.
