The minute Azazel admitted everything and his change of plans, Verena shouted out in surprise.
Even the twins and Olivier stood behind Azazel with their heads down, as though they were guilty of not following Verena's orders properly.
But they were all thinking the same thing. They had no regrets about what they had done, and it was satisfying in its own right.
They admired Azazel's handling of the situation.
"...yes. I hope you don't hate me for that, Verena-"

When Verena bursts out laughing, Azazel's eyes enlarged significantly, surprising everyone as they stared at her with wide eyes.

Azazel's eyes light up with delight as he looks at Verena, who appears to be pleased with the news.
And the others smile, relieved that Verena approves of Azazel's ways.
