Verena came out of her room and noticed the corridor was dark and silent.

It's as though she's the only one there, standing and scanning the surroundings.

There wasn't a single knight, nor a maid or butler to assist her. It was absolutely devoid of people and filled with silence.

Only a few lights in the dark could instruct Verena to continue walking down the corridor.

It was strangely silent when she exited the palace wearing only a nightgown.

However, his attention was drawn to her.

"L-Lady Verena?!"

Ethan was bewildered by Verena's appearance while she was supposed to be resting inside.

It was the same with Verena, who was taken aback by Ethan's unexpected approach.

"... Where's everyone?"
