[THIRD PERSON POV]
“Thank you so much babe, for getting rid of that woman from our lives.”
“Of course, didn’t I promise you that once I’m done with Eureka, I’ll figure out a way to get rid of her?”
Maddison slid her feet into the pool while resting her head on Liam’s shoulder.
They’re presently relaxing by the pool as the rest of the family sleeps.
“I thought my heart would burst when I saw you two together,” Maddison murmured, her gaze dropping from Liam’s eyes to his lips, with a hint of teasing in her voice.
Their bodies slowly pressed together as Liam brought his face close to Maddison. His tongue pressed between parted lips in ticklish kitten licks, breathing heavily as their lips brushed on each other. They could taste their shared breath, feel the thud of the combined heartbeat as they fumbled to take off one another’s clothes.
Not too far, Blade stood nearby, his body quivering with rage as he saw what’s happening
If you made it this far, thank you so much for supporting this book. You gave me reasons to write more. Thank you!
“Come here!” Noah kept stomping and scratching his head in front of a door. “Crystal, come faster!” He didn’t even help me and instead ran towards the door. I scowled at him and continued to walk slowly, as my body still felt weak. “Hurry!” He said, almost whining. “You realize I’m not in good enough condition to move faster right now, right? I know you let me eat, but that doesn’t mean I can alrea-“ I stumbled back as his stride approaches me. With the extra length of his limb, it was as if he had only taken five steps towards my direction. I expected him to simply lend a hand to me, but I was taken aback when he abruptly grabbed me up and began lifting my legs in the air. I gasp. “N-Noah” I can’t look at him, but I caught a glimpse of him looking at me from the corner of my eye as he began to take steps forward. “What the hell are you doing..?” My hands clutching the front of his delicate blouse so I won’t fal
"Dad." Noah called his father and approached him instantly. I even saw a glimpse of his mouth nearing his ear as if he was whispering something. But I didn't hear what Noah said to him, and I'm not the type to pry into their conversations. "Amara..." He called the baby girl's name again as he walked closer to me. I tugged my hair at my earlobe as my lips curved into a smile that didn't make a mess at the edge of my eyes. I step back a little so he can walk towards the baby crib. I witnessed how Noah's father's eyebrows arched up as his lips drawn in firmly. He looks really sad right now, staring at the stuff of his lost daughter. I gently raised my hand and pat him on his back. "Don't worry Sir, your daughter will be back soon. I'm pretty sure that she can't wait to see her father and hug him as tight as how long they have been far from each other." Is this how Mom feels as well? Does she want to see me again because she misses me?
“We will get this, and this… this… and… that.”I am just going after Noah's footsteps inside this boutique and he's as if going to buy the whole place because of how many times he said we're going to get the clothes.I can't let him do this anymore, I tugged the edge of his shirt and tried to get his attention. He whirled his head a bit to look at his back.“That's plenty of clothes for staying an entire year at your house."I notice the sales lady's eyes shifted to us so I slightly lowered the white cap I’m wearing to cover my face because I seemed to have grabbed her attention. I took a little step closer to Noah and whispered. “Let's simply buy three pairs and that would be enough for a few couples of days.”"For a few days? You don't know how many more nights you'll stay at home so we should already have clothes ready for you to change. Crys-" I didn't l
I felt hands grip my shoulder to save me from drowning in his eyes once again. Noah pulled me onto his back to hide. Liam couldn't seem to believe he saw me still standing on my own feet, he looks perplexed as to why am I still breathing. I could no longer see him because of how tall Noah is and how wide is his shoulders block me. But the only person that my eyes spotted is Maddison who is glaring at Liam. "So you're the one who abducted her?" I instantly shifted my eyes to Liam's direction even though I am actually looking at Noah's back. "What?" Noah chuckled sarcastically. "I can't believe that sharp tongue of yours can still lie. What do you want to happen? Crystal will believe you that I kidnapped her and I will be the bad person in her eyes like what you did before?" I was about to come out from behind Noah because I wanted to ask Liam why he said those things. But I failed when Noah hold my hand to stop me from getting out behind
Crystal"Have you bought everything you need?" Noah's dad asked me while Noah and his guards begin to place the paper bags of my clothes inside the house."Yes Sir, I don't need much. You already gave a lot to me by getting me some clothes I'm going to use." I tried to smile at him.I still can't forget Liam's eyes when we stared at each other earlier."No Dad she's lying to you."I was quickly distracted when Noah suddenly replied after he had just put in all the shopping bags.I dwindled my eyes at him because I could not understand what he was saying."What do you mean she's lying? Did you guys bought my-""No, we haven't got you a shake since Crystal wants to immediately go back as she doesn't want anyone to recognize her. She cried out in the mall begging me to go home. I even asked the sales lady for their online shop because we can't continue buying her clothes!" He looks like a kid who complains to his father.Wh
Noah's dad was stunned by me and didn't seem to know what to say next. He's just staring intently into me with his lips parted but no words are coming out. "Can you tell me why did you suddenly mention my mom here?" I asked him because everyone seemed to get quiet in here. "Uh..." He let out an awkward laugh before he regains himself and shifted back to me. "Well, that word is common here in Denmark. That's what we adults say to young women who don't suppress their desires. Like we would say, you're the same as your mother. I'm just used to it, forgive me if this isn't what New Jersey Crystal is used to." both corners of his lips raised that created a smile but his eyes didn't even change. It looks insincere, perhaps he just felt weird because of my question. "Oh, okay. I wasn't aware of that." I smiled at them before I begin to get a slice of pizza that now only one slice is left. I felt a little embarrassed to take it because Blade still see
We still can't take off because Blade insists on holding me with him. He snatched my hand from his back and tugged it to the front to tighten it around his waist. "If you don't hold on to me, you might fall." I can feel the surge of my blood accumulating on my cheeks now. It feels so hot so I'm sure they're turning like rotten tomatoes again. I hope Blade doesn't look back because he can see this is how it affected me. I know I'm wearing a helmet now and he might not notice but I won't be able to handle it when he turns around. Because we're just like the ones I watch in movies. It doesn't happen to me every day. "Are you still alive there?" Blade asked, and when I saw him turn around I immediately nodded to stop him. "I-I'm fine..." I find it hard to speak because of my increased heart rate and rapid breathing. "Move a little closer to me Crystal, you might be flown away. Don't act like you're strong because yo
"Are you that thankful? You hugged me before, maybe you want release me?" I instantly unwrapped my arms and step away from him. I ran my finger through my hair that got messy when I removed the helmet. I just peered at the ground as I couldn't lift my gazes to Blade because of what he said. "Look at me." My hand seemed to stiffen stuck in fixing my hair because of what he uttered. I pressed my lips together as I slowly raise my eyes to him. "Are you blushing?" Blade snickered. He even brought up his crumple fist to block his mouth. "I am not." I looked away from him again and just gawked at the parked motor. "Come on, I was just kidding. Look at me." I still didn't give a glance to him. I don’t understand what these nasty little ones inside my stomach are doing that cause my heart to beat rapidly. "Alright, just— try to look around you." Only then did he get my attention again
