Chapter 18: Rivalry

"The woman you saw earlier, that's Eureka Villareal," Sybil explained, and I just nodded.

“First and foremost, you should be aware that the two most powerful families in Denmark are embroiled in a bitter feud. They are great rivals. The Spencers are leading the power, energy, winery, oil, and other industries. And the Villareals, who are at the forefront of technology and aircraft.” Sybil even used his fingers to convey the story, as though he was taking it very seriously.

I couldn't respond because I was still chewing on the bacon, so I just nodded.

There was plenty of food, but only Sybil and I sat down to eat.

There was a long table where we ate dinner with Liam’s parents last night. On one side, there is an expansive table with a wide selection of dishes. Even though it was extremely early, I felt as if I had eaten at its expensive buffet.

“You already recognize Eureka because you saw her at the wedding, didn't you?”

I nodded once
