Chapter 17

I looked around while smiling. It was only eight in the morning but it was already crowded in the park. I never thought that this day would happen when I would no longer be afraid of so many people. I thought there was really no hope. 

"Why is Brick so late?!" I looked at the one next to me who was frustrated of waiting for the man in the grocery store. 

"Let's just wait for a minute. He will come out later, and it's still early." I said to him and held his hand with his watch on his wrist and showed him the time. 

He looked at the time and waited again. I was about to let go of his hand, but I remembered the scar I saw on his hand when he removed the watch then. I quickly pulled up his watch in case I could see the scar there but he locked it too tightly so I didn't see what I wanted to see. 

"What are you doing?" He said seriously and withdrew his hand from mine. I looked at his serious face then I smiled slowly.
