TEACHER JERSELLE SPILLS THE TEA
I sit with teacher Jerselle on the couch while Lucy gives mom her medicine. Having a bit of time with Ms. Jerselle is an opportunity I don't want to miss. She's one of those people I trust in the school, the reason that I kept on fighting in those times Cassandra and her friends bullied me.
"Ms. Jerselle, thanks for checking on mom. I really appreciate this."
"Angel, I come here not just for your mom but also for you. I want to share something with you. Something personal that I don't want to talk about on the phone."

Our driver Roland and two other men help us in getting to our condo unit. On the first day in Singapore, I need to make sure we make it to mom’s doctor’s appointment. Her first consultation on what would be the best option for a fast and full recovery. Just like yesterday, my second day in Singapore is emotional thinking about my mom’s chemotherapy. I hold on to Maddox’s reminder to think positive and trust the doctors who will handle mom. I wake up at almost 8 in the morning which is later than the usual time I wake when I was in the Philippines.
