Peter watches her like a hawk. The conversation earlier with his wife is still fresh in his mind. She is worried about all kinds of lies around her. This woman had taken her on a dead run away from the car that followed them. Now she is gone. This woman in front of him is apparently also not what his eyes are telling him.
“As a family we moved constantly around. Within my lifestyle snakes found their way towards me. At first I was mostly quiet and obedient; qualities I learnt from the one person I trust in this world. Our lives are sometimes so entwined and it’s mostly my fault.”
“What does this have to do with Sammy?”
“My choices mostly make me moody, resentful and downright irresponsible but once I am on this path I messed up creating that which was already within my cousin, fear.”

Sammy become aware that someone is looking at her. Sitting upright in the middle of her bed her eyes searched the bedroom carefully. The space is darkened except for the moon that peeked through the half drawn curtains.Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary but she still feels the intensity of the eyes. She definitely wasn’t alone. Throwing the blankets from her body she reaches out to switch her night light on. Pulling on her gown she stands in the middle of the room frightened but strangely stubborn. She tries sensing from where the ominous looks are coming from. Sammy opens her eyes completely unaware she is in a sleep-form of trance. Her feet lead the way towards the graveyard. With a subconscious secure step she found three graves. She stands there looking without comprehending.The storm that seems to subside earlier found strength to gather the clouds fiercely together again. It is almost like nature feels the intensity of her turbulent emotions, feelings she as yet seemed unable to understand.Sometime pass while she just stand there looking. When the first of the raindrops landed on her head somewhere deeply within her she know she must move. There is a kind of aggression in nature finding a link within her. Her feet doing the walking on its own towards the place she knew as home.Sammy opens the front door standing within the open frame. Lightening is playing behind her, while rain is pouring down on top of her. She just stands there waiting. The images within her mind were a kaleidoscope of distorted frames.

Sammy opened her eyes. She saw him standing within the shadows on her bedroom’s corner. She instantly sat up straight looking intently at him.“Who are you?” she whispered.“My intent the first time I saw you was rather harmful. I had watched you and came to another conclusion. A burst of wind seemed to want to rip the roof from the house. This seemed to startle her seriously. Instinctively he reached for her. He held her firm afraid she might be cast away before his eyes. The heaven’s opened pouring serious buckets of water on top of the roof. He reached out again and bodily took hold of her before placing her now in the middle of the bedroom he was currently using; she was still wet and really cold.Sammy looked at him with the strangest expression trying to place him somewhere in her memory. Nothing seemed to click but there was something magical about him. She found her fascinated with him. Like a wide-eyed child she watched him moved about preparing what seemed to be a hot bath. Peter woke in the middle of the night finding his arms were empty. Like a bolt of lightning he was from the bed searching the house but finding no trace of her. Returning to the bedroom he dressed then left the house. The night was rather chilly but filled with stars. Getting into his car he drove to the house she thinks of as home. The place was darkened though and this even though it was night didn’t set well with him. Circling the house to his surprise he found a light burning and the window was slightly ajar.
