Why is he crying? That’s the first thing I think about the moment I open my eyes.
Wait a second!
Wasn’t I supposed to be lying in some grave by now? I was also supposed to be finally meeting the famous Moon Goddess who gave me so many gifts yet I ditched all her gifts successfully. I even prepared an apology speech for her before I lost my consciousness but I guess, I will have to save it for later.
What am I doing on Cain’s bed though? I blink my eyes rapidly and look at him.
He is mumbling something. I can’t make out all the words as my ears are still ringing due to a very known reason. I do make out one line though. ‘ When - When will I ever get to decide the future? ’
