Chapter 100
MIRACLE POV
I walk through the deep - dark forest, making my way back to the pack house while I think about what just happened between me and Cain.
For a moment, I really believed Matthew has changed and he wants to hurt others, rebel against Cain, seize power. I found myself believing everything Cain was telling me but then he mentioned hurting Matthew and my fuse went off.
I love Cain, there is no doubt about it in my heart…I trust him to an extent as well, but I can’t trust him over my brother.
I know Matthew. I lived with him for my whole life and I believe he can never bring harm to anyone. He is not some kind of villain. He is kind-hearted, responsible and strong. He must be going through a lot, but he will never do what Cain was saying he is about to do.
Killing whole packs? Getting involved in the murder of Hundreds and thousands of werewolves? That doesn’t sound like Matthew to me.
