MIRACLE POV
Shocked, I find myself unable to move when Cain pushes Matthew and he falls on the ground on his back.
A strange emotion overcomes my heart as I stay absolutely still. It’s like I am not me and my mind is not mine when I start putting two and two together.
“ They all died because of you! ” It’s a calm statement coming from Cain, but his action suggests otherwise.
Cain gets on top of Matthew while I watch and then he raises his fist in the air. His fist comes down with a brutal force and connects with Matthew’s jaw.
“ You took her out of there! ” Another calm statement and a hard punch on Matthew’s face.
