MIRACLE POV
“ If you fail to provide her with a secret…she will take your soul and deliver it to her God of Chaos instead of your secret. ” Amanda reveals to me in a casual tone.
I stare at Amanda in complete shock. She is acting like it’s nothing when it can cause Cain his life.
I open my mouth to say something, to end this pause of heavy silence between us, but nothing comes out of my mouth.
Is all this worth it? Just to find out a way to kill Elijah, is it necessary to put ourselves at risk again? Either way, we are supposed to be doomed.
I close my mouth and press my lips in a thin line, before I turn around to face Cain. He is still giving me that refusing look which tells me he doesn’t want me to get involved in any of this…but, how can I let him do all of this alone?
