Adopted

Felix was born into the world but immediately became an orphan.

Sixteen Years Later (at the present time)...

Felix just woke up and stunned while looking at nowhere. He was always like that everytime he wakes up in the morning. He was always looking at nowhere like he is day dreaming of something. It's either good or bad day dreaming. He was in that state when a slipper suddenly flew in his face.

"Ouch!" He grabbed his cheeks that was been hit by a slipper.

"Hey! You are amazed there for nothing! Get up and help your mother in the kitchen!" His Uncle Simon shouted as he was suddenly appeared in front of him and was also the one who threw the slipper at his face.

"Okay I'm  coming!" Felix responded to him as he was still sitting on the edge of his bed.

"Make it quick!" His Uncle Simon shouted once more. And then walk his way out to his room.

After his parents died at the same day when he was born. His Auntie Betty and Uncle Simon decided to adopt him as they have been longing for a child.

They lived in a small bungalow house now and it was enough space for them to live at. Felix was sleeping in a small space of room in their house which is near to their kitchen and living room.

His Auntie Betty (whom she already called her mother) was very kind hearted woman on her 40's. She was very fond of Felix every time she looks at his handsome face. She considered Felix as her own son and takes care of him while his true parents died. He loves Felix a lot since they started to adopt him.

And his Uncle Simon (whom he called his father) was a very strict man in his 50's to every thing that Felix does. He always made sure that Felix would not make any mistakes in everything he do. But he will always loved Felix the way a father does to his son. He was just too strict to Felix because he don't want to experience anything bad towards his life. Because he already had lost his true parents.

Remembering the day when his mother had a cardiac arrest and the reason she died on that day. And at the same time his father had an accident in their own house. That made him an orphan.

When Emma heard the news about his husband Henry she got a cardiac arrest and suddenly stop breathing.

Betty and Simon who was standing inside the room got panicked and they tried to wake her up but they can't and Emma was not giving them a sign that she was still breathing. And without their knowledge about those emergency life saving they decided to call the doctors and nurses inside the hospital.

Upon hearing Betty about the sudden unconsciousness of their patient they hurriedly went to her room.

All the nurse attendants and doctors went there to check her pulse. They tried their best to revive her but they aren't successful in doing so.

Betty burst out in tears upon seeing the signal of the doctor saying Emma didn't make it. Simon hug Betty who was bursting in tears while crying in his chest. Simon tried to calm his wife by tapping him in the back while crying in his chest.

Even the nurse who were holding Felix can't help herself but to wipe her tears that are suddenly fall down from her cheeks while looking at the baby she was holding.

And just like that he losses both his parents without even had the chance to grow up with them. It feels sad on the nurse's part while he was looking at the baby's handsome and innocent face.

They transfer the body of Emma to the funerary with her husband's body too.

While at the room of Emma there was Simon , Betty, OB of Emma, and the nurse who were holding the baby.

"Let me hold him." Betty ask to the nurse beside her.

The nurse hand over Felix to Betty. When Betty takes a glance to the face of the baby, she couldn't help herself but to be mesmerized by the handsome look of him.

"She wanted to name him Felix." Betty said as she was still sniffing after crying.

Simon take a glance also to the face of the baby. He was sadden because he was just born and yet losses his parents on a tragic incident.

"We will adopt him." Betty firmly said as she look at the doctors and to the nurse beside her.

"How are you related to his mother?" The doctor asked to make sure they can hand the baby in a good hand.

She takes a look vividly to the two couple in front of her who were looking at each other.

"I am her sister doctor and this is my husband." Betty responded while pointing his husband beside her.

"Okay we will hand him over to you two since he is now all alone." The doctor said as he walk near Betty and take a last glance to the face of Felix.

"He was so handsome." She smiled while telling those words.

"I just hope I could be the one to adopt him." She continues and smiled at Betty and Simon.

"Me too doctor." The nurse suddenly interrupted the conversations.

"He is so cute and if nobody wants to adopt him, I am willing to do so." She continues as she was also looking at handsome face of Felix.

Every time the nurse speaks up, Felix was smiling even though he was asleep while carrying by Betty.

They are very fascinated of Felix.

At the present time...

"FEEELIIIIX!" The very loud and long shout of his Uncle Simon.

He didn't even yet finish yawning when he heard those warning signs that he needed to be at the kitchen immediately. So, he quickly step outside but forgot something in his room. Felix didn't fix his bed before he went to the kitchen.

He was about to help his mother Betty in the kitchen when she saw her already fixing the table with the cook food being served.

"Oh your awake?" Betty speak up and lifted her head looking at Felix while serving the plates and glasses.

"Let me help you mom." Felix wanted to reach those plates to his mother and Betty hand her those plates.

After she hand over the plates she caress the hair of Felix.

"Oh such a good boy plus a handsome look." She said while smiling and Felix didn't help himself but to feel a bit shy with what her mother just said.

They were in that state when Simon walk slowly near them.

"What's so funny?" He asked while looking at Betty and Felix grinning to each other.

"Nothing love, just sit and let's eat." Betty said while Felix stop grinning and sit beside his father.

That is the everyday routine of family Remington.
