Business Failure

And yes that was what really happened when they celebrated his first birthday.

Now looking at them while Betty was carrying him in her arms made him realize that whatever happened to them was just a coincidence and never had he bear in his mind that it was the child's fault at all. Those unlucky days maybe just one of their disastrous things that happen unexpectedly.

He stands up and try to get closer to Betty and Felix to say sorry but Betty pulled Felix away from him.

"He is not a THING honey, he is our SON." Betty exclaimed while she was hugging Felix.

"Yes I know honey and I am sorry about my attitude just now." Simon trying to comfort Betty with his begging look on his face.

"I-I am so sorry honey I-It's just that I had a bad day." Simon continues while trying to please Betty.

"But that doesn't mean you need to blame it to him." Pointing out her lips to the boy he was carrying who was already asleep.

"Our son." Betty continues and Simon felt ashamed of what just he did that he should have supposed to control his emotions.

Simon slowly walk his way to get near Betty and Felix. And then he looks at Felix innocent face while he was asleep in the arms of her wife Betty. After that, he takes a glance back to her wife with his pleasing looks at her. They stare at each other.

"Alright. Alright." Betty exclaimed as she was trying to make her voice down since he just gotten Felix to sleep.

"So sorry." Simon said in his whispering tone. And the they both glance at Felix who were even smiling while sleeping in the arms of her mother Betty.

In the morning.

While they were having a breakfast, Betty had the chance to talked to her husband about what had really happened to him yesterday.

"Would you tell me what had happened to you yesterday?" Betty while she just put a food in her mouth and about to chew it.

Simon suddenly stopped chewing his food when he heard the question of Betty. He lifted his head and continue chewing his food.

"It's nothing." He just simply answered.

"Oh come on honey. We need to talk a lot of things now." Betty cut the crap out about Simon not wanted to share about his problem.

But she already had an idea what has happened to him in his office  but she wanted to know it in his own mouth.

"Hmmm. I went to the company yesterday." Simon said while Betty was still chewing her food and at the same time concentrating on listening to what Simon is saying.

They had a company owns by their family Remington, they were the company that sells imported liquid soaps, detergents, and fabric softeners.

They invested that company because of her wife Betty who had the idea on promoting it to the public. They called their company Remington's Import.

"I went to close down the company I had built with all my hardships I have been through." Simon said and then take a sip to his glass of water beside his plate.

He just done eating his breakfast and continue what he has been saying.

"The company I had built for a long time and I just need to close it down myself can you imagine that?" Simon continues and you can see the look in his face that he was really felt devastated.

Betty have seen that. The struggles he needs to came through just to built the company and now he needs to close it down. Oh how she could have loved to help him but she don't know how to.

Betty stand up and sit beside her husband while he was holding his head and looking down on the table in front of him. Betty taps his shoulder to comfort his husband it's the least thing she could do at that moment.

"Did you ever had that feeling that you wanted to let them stay but I don't have any choice but to let them go away because they've all wanted to leave? " Simon exclaimed with his voice that was breaking as it was starting to cry.

Betty learned that all the stock holders in their company were one by one pull out all their shares in it. That's what he heard last time but she didn't bother to ask his husband about it since he already got a lot of problems lately and then now he is already starting to talk about it.

This is the first time his husband were talking about business with her so she really know it is quiet a serious matter for their family.

"T-That I myself needed to close it because I really had no choice but to." Simon continues and lifted his head to look at his wife.

Betty on the other hand can see on her face the sadness that she felt while her husband was telling him about their company's downfall.

"I- I am so sorry honey I didn't know that was happened yesterday and I am sorry I even yell at you instead of comforting you." Betty explaining herself about her attitude yesterday towards her husband.

And yes that was the worst thing that happened to the family Remington.

Their company declared bankruptcy as for the news because Simon didn't let others to have him an interview. He just kept silent about what really happened to their company. Simon didn't bother to correct it himself since he was already had enough of what has happen to him.

They tried to move on from everything and concentrate on their new business venture. They put up a new business with their remaining money in the bank. And then they also decided to sell their big house since there are three of them, they've decided both to bought a house that suits them.

A smaller one but convenient to the three of them - Simon , Betty and Felix. They've got a bungalow house.

Betty and Simon talked about putting up a business from the remaining spare money that they've got in the bank.

They had to try it once more because the motto of family Remington was to 'Never Give Up.' They've put up a restaurant and name it BETsi Restaurant.

They successfully opened their restaurant in the city. And they operated it quiet well.
