Chapter 4

Faith POV

It's been 3 days since I've officially become unemployed. My hope was beginning to fade and I even thought of going back to Mr Asshole and begging for my job back. I was just coming back from my evening walk when my phone buzzed with a new notification.

Yeah yeah! Ads!

I hesitantly pulled it out of my pocket as I began climbing the stairs toward my door. I looked at it and there was an email from the C&S Clothing. I huffed and unlocked my door, then summoned all the power in the world to push it open. After it finally agreed to open I got in and locked the thoroughly then tossed my phone on my poor couch.

I walked into my bedroom and sat in front of my computer and powered it on. It took a few minutes to come to life and there was a small icon showing a new email. Uninterested, I opened the small icon, and my heart sprinted! An email from C&S Clothing. Not just an email but an invitation to the job interview. I couldn't believe my eyes. I reached for my glasses and re-read the whole email. It stood right there. A job interview.

I jumped and yelled. Did my happy dance for a full 5 minutes then came to a dead halt. I had no clothes for the interview. No formal clothes at all. Just a few trashy body dresses. I ran towards my fabric wardrobe and took out my wallet. At least I still had a few cash to run to the thrift store and get some presentable attire for my interview, and a few more for my first month before my payment. And that's if I'll land the job. But something in me knew that it was it!

The interview was the day ahead and I knew I had no time to waste. With that, I ran out of my apartment towards the cheapest thrift store in town. Upon reaching, I shuffled from shelf to shelf looking for the most presentable dress. I stumbled upon a pair of black formal dress pants which were so cheap and beautiful. I fell in love with them right there and then. I placed them in my basket and went to the blouse section. I took 5 of them and 3 additional pencil skirts. I also found a beautiful pair of stilettos that were too high. Just the way I loved them.

After checking them out, I continued my happy dance all the way to my trashy apartment. Right after the first payment, I was going to get myself a beautiful cozy apartment.

~~~
C&S CLOTHING was nothing I expected. Yes, I stayed up late doing a bit of an assignment. But that didn't prepare me for this. The building was very huge. I'm talking at least 70 floors huge. The whole building was made of bluish reflective glass. It was hilariously huge and beautiful. I felt my hands sweating, and nerves creeping to my throat. I smoothed the unavailable greases on my dress pants and lifted my chin high, pushed the 2 glass doors open, and walked to the reception.
The walls were breathtaking, covered in a deep gray paint. The C&S logo hung big and proud on the wall behind the reception table. The table itself screamed money. The building was bustling with busy people. Everyone trying to reach their goal of the day. People were dressed neatly in suits and dress skirts. The atmosphere itself told me I had stepped into the world of high fashion, and for a split second I stood there gawking at the extravagance around d me, I felt like a stain. It was so lively.
I walked towards the reception table where there sat a middle-aged man in a baby blue dress shirt and a red tie. I couldn't make out his dress pants because of the table. He greeted me with a sweet professional smile. I told him I came here for the interview. He stared at me questionably before confirming with the executive secretary. Soon, he led me to the elevator and told me I'll find help on the 67th floor. The elevator was crowded with people who were discussing work. The higher the elevator went, the more nervous I grew. My tongue grew heavier in my mouth.
I stepped out of the elevator and was welcomed by another middle-aged man who was wearing a black suit with shiny black dress shoes. He also gave me a smile and made a few jokes. I found myself laughing while we walked in the hallway towards a room at the end of the hallway. He introduced himself as Louis, the executive secretary and gave me a little rundown about what I was to expect. I concluded right on the spot that he was a nice guy. He bid me farewell and left after ushering me to a closed door.
I took a deep breath, held it for 30 seconds, and exhaled. I knocked thrice before letting myself in. The door closed behind me with a soft click. In the office were 3 men. Not just any other ordinary men but 3 large men. The other one sat behind a huge desk with a lot of files scattered on it. He wore non-framed glasses, a white dress shirt, and black slacks. I assumed him to be an HR manager because everything about him screamed all that. The other 2 sat on the small conference table beside a huge floor-to-ceiling window.
The other one wore a three-piece gray suit with the coat unbuttoned. It was coupled with a black tie. His black hair was gelled on the sides of his head neatly. I recognized him as one of the bosses. And damn! He was so sexy. Smoking hot kind of sexy. The other one wore a navy blue suit with a silver tie. His hair was combed neatly on his head and he emitted a very intimidating aura. His face had a scruffy 5 o'clock shadow, and there were no laugh lines. His brows were furrowed but dear God, he was fucking hot. He also was another boss. Kudos to me for making a thorough research about the company before coming for an interview.
The assumed HR manager ushered me to the conference table where I took my seat. Before I could even sit my big ass, Mr. Navy Blue stood with a huff and walked towards the window.
Okay! That was unexpected.
The assumed HR manager introduced himself as the manager and introduced the other two men as Jaref Scott and Hardin Calu. The friendly boss was Jared and the angry bird was Hardin. Good Lord! Even his name was sexy. Can these guys get any hotter?
"Let's get to the interview and stop wasting time. I have a meeting after this!" Mr. Angry Bird roared in a deep voice. When I say roar, I mean a real roar! His voice was deliciously deep with a very thick accent. It rumbled in very inappropriate places which were, sadly my lady bids. I gave all of them a professional smile and a nod, gesturing for them to continue with their questions.
After a full hour, I was done answering all of their questions and elaborating on myself. The friendly boss made small talk about the current crisis. Truthfully, I felt that it was more of a test than just a small talk. I gave them my honest opinion and comments and even made a few suggestions. I stole a glance at Mr. Angry Bird only to find him scowling at me. There Mr! I didn't steal your lollipop. I wondered who pissed in his breakfast. The man was just too angry. For unknown reasons.
Mr. Friendly Boss continued chatting and even mentioned something about Mr. Angry Bird being gynophobic. Well, that explained why he was just too angry. After a few minutes of our small talk, I was dismissed with a "We'll let you know the results via a call or an email!" With that, I gathered my files and carried my sorry ass out of the office. Feeling rather horny than relaxed due to the sinfully hot men that were maybe going to be my bosses.
If I happened to land the job, would it really be bad to work for two hot men?
Oh, dear. Not at all!
