Sid To The Rescue

Summer POV

Mtungagore did not waste any time, he brought Sid back just before dusk. Upon seeing him, I had mixed feelings. Anger and gratitude at the same time. Anger because he allowed Harold to fool him. Grateful for the fact that, had he decided not to retaliate in the end, I most certainly, would have perished in that inferno.

At the end of it all, I owe him one and my heart just cannot hate him. He, like many others, was deceived as well. But his strong sense of justice made him overcome. He is the epitome of humanity.

"Summer! Is it really you? Howling hailstorm! It is really you!"

This guy is insufferable. From where does he get these expressions of his? I cannot contain the smile that slowly creeps onto my lips. I know for sure that I am happy to see him. I walk closer to him and give him a brief hug.

"Not possible matey, your belly is protruding. I would not want to disturb the little warrior in there. From the looks of it, you won't have to wait long till you meet him."
