Chapter Fifteen

Bridgette sighed when she made it back to the small house that she kept in town. It was dark and quiet and she would have found it relaxing if she wasn’t such a nervous wreck. She knew that she had done something crazy but that now seemed like the only available option ever since Laurel died. She knew that she couldn’t run forever, and she also knew that she would never be able to rest until they were all taken down. Crazy was literally the only option she had left. 

Bridgette was about to unlock the front door when she noticed something that seemed a little out of place in the quiet neighborhood. She had a large jacket pulled over her shoulders masking the shoulder holster and twin pistols. She quickly unlocked the door and slipped inside the house. She bid the babysitter good night and sent her on her way after paying her. Bridgette then slipped out  the back door and made her way through her
