“Brothew, what is ho… honmon?” Three years old Christie asked her brother Chris.

“It's a honeymoon, Christie.” Little Chris corrected his sister's words.

“En, honmon" Christie repeated after her brother.

Chris slapped his forehead exasperatedly and sighed. “Yes, you are right. It's honmon.” 

Even though they were of the same age, Chris's pronunciation had more clarity compared to Christie's.

As their parents didn't get to go on honeymoon during their wedding time, their father was planning on going next month. The kids were a bit older, so they could leave them with their aunt Catherine and grandfather Samant. And that's why Christian wanted to take the chance and go on honeymoon with Sarah.

And the children learned this word when they heard their parents talking about it. At his sister's question, Chris contemplated a while before replying, “Dad said it’s eating honey while gazing at the moon. That's called honeymoon.”
