Chapter 3

The following day Emily brought Christian to meet mum and dad. I have met him already, so I didn't come down.

The words of Emily has struck a weak spot in my heart. In a way, she is right.

Like when we where in the second grade we both fell and bruised our knees everybody around us rushed to check up on me.

Emily was on her own; it was when I asked her if she was okay before they went to check on her also.

Mum is an event planner, and sometimes we are being invited to the parties and programs she planned.

Most attention is on me, and Emily is always pushed back far away from me. But I don't accept that I  salways bring her back to the spotlight.

I can't believe I have been a female dog to my sister all this while. I have overshadowed her. But I try my best.

She is right; I don't have the right to tell her who to marry or who not to. If she thinks Christian is the best partner for her, so be it, I will support her no matter what. It might hurt now but soon I will forget all about him.

With that new found determination, I stood up and showered. I went downstairs to congratulate both Christian and Emily, but mum said they were gone already.

Dad is not usually home. He is considering his busy schedule. You see, dad is a heart surgeon and one of the best in the country and across the globe.

Days have turned into a week, and there is barely two days before the wedding.

The preparation of the wedding has been a rush, choosing of wedding gowns, the church luckily Christian suggested the reception should be held in one of his hotels.

My best friend Madeline Maddie for short and I are the maids of honors. Emily and I have cleared our differences.

Emily is one lucky bitch, her wedding with Christian has been on every television stations and newspapers, even radio's.

Emily and I are l like practically the same being. You wouldn't know which one is Emily or Emery short for Emeline when we are together.

But people closer to us do know. Like I have two dimples when I smile while Emily has two but one is not that deep.

I have a small birthmark just above my navel, which Emily doesn't have.

When I went out two days ago to meet up with Maddie at Starbucks, people were congratulating me on my wedding.

I was too embarrassed to say I'm not the one getting married but my twin. Nobody will believe me, anyway. So I thanked them and smiled politely at them.

At the mall, when we went shopping for wedding gifts, someone congratulated me, and I told him I wasn't the one he never believed me.

"You know I'm surprised Emily didn't want to have a bachelorette party. That so unusual of her. And she is acting weird also." Maddie said as she made her self comfortable on the floor.

We were having a girls night for Emily since she declined the bachelorette party Maddie wanted to throw for her.

More over she has been acting weird and strange since morning, it as if she is up to something not good. I have to find out about it before she lands us into trouble.

What could Emily be hiding from the family. Emery crushing on her sisters husband to be is it the right thing to do?

Tell me what you think guys.
