Chapter 18. Dinner Invitation
Eva fell to the ground after she saw the demon die and turn to dust at Iris' feet. She was panting with relief that they were both still alive after fighting James.
"Iris… You did it." She said to Iris who was still standing staring at the dust. But her eyes widened in horror when suddenly she collapsed to the floor and passed out.
"Oh shit… Iris! Are you alright? Iris!" She quickly took out her cell phone and called someone at headquarters. "Shane! I need help now!"
Near the alley, Jonathan watched Eva as well as Iris from a distance until he waited for reinforcements to arrive to take them.
When Martin and Tommy arrive, they are very surprised to find Eva who has a broken leg while Iris is still unconscious and hasn't woken up since she managed to beat James.
Eva had confirmed that Iris was fine and was in a state of shock. And they were immediately taken to headquarters.
