"And what's that, son?"

"What, mother?"

"Are you ok son? What's the matter?"

"I'm alright mother"

"No you're not! I know you too well!"

"Mother? Please, not today. I just want to go and rest now"

Cho Ja Nathaniel was not ready for his mother's lecture, so he thought. He knew quite well what his mother was trying to say to him but he didn't want to give her the opportunity to continue. But sadly, that didn't work!

"Are you trying to shut me up just because you know exactly what I want to say!"

Cho Hei raised her voice a little. She wasn't happy with her son. Nathaniel rested his back on the car seat helplessly and listened obediently as his mother chewed him raw! He had no other choice because that was the only way to calm her down.

"I've told you too many times already, that I hate it when you mix Korean and English together! You either choose one!"

"You are just doing this to stop me from saying what you knew I would say. But let me tell you that that won't stop me!"

Nathaniel still did not say a single word to his mother. He just listened, and that was something Cho Hei did not want.

"And why are you quiet, Nathaniel?!"

"I'm sorry mother, I will try not to do it again".

"Hmmm! You better do!"

Nathaniel shook his head dejectedly and then waited patiently for the next storm!

"Son?"

"Yes mother"

He answered.

"When will you be back? You know we have a lot to talk about"

"I'll be in Nigeria tomorrow. I'm done here"

"Oh, really son?!"

"Yes mother"

"That's fantastic, son! Welldone!"

"Thank you mother"

Cho Hei was overwhelmed with joy after hearing that "precious" news from her son, and forgot what she wanted to say to him. Nathaniel was still on the line, waiting for his mother to say something but he didn't hear anything other than the sound of laughter. He thought it was the perfect opportunity to escape his mother and he said…

"Mother? I will hang up now…"

Before Nathaniel could finish, his mother quickly woke up and stopped her son from escaping.

"Umm...son?"

"Yes mother"

"I know you're tired and probably hungry now. Don't worry, I will release you soon, yeah?"

"Oh!"

He answered dejectedly.

"What is it, mother?"

Nathaniel asked his mother innocently. After a few seconds, she responded.

"Son? I have found the right girl for you! She's right here in Nigeria. I'm certain you'll like her when you see her"

Cho Hei felt A bit down, not hearing anything from her son. She knew her son well and knew it won't be easy at all. After a few seconds of silence that seemed like forever, Cho Hei decided to speak up first.

"Nathaniel? Are you still there son?"

"Hmmm! Mother…? I'm still here"

"You should say something. Don't just keep quiet"

"I don't have anything to say, mother. I've told you time without number, that I'm not interested, but still, you went ahead to arrange a random girl for me!"

Nathaniel became frustrated. He was really tired of his mother, reminding him of what he didn't want to even think of.

"Let me ask you this mother. Are you that desperate now, that you want me to have s*x with an African girl and give you that precious grandchild you so desires?"

"What nonsense are you saying son! And who says the girl is an African girl?"

"What are you saying mother? Are you not in Nigeria?"

In no time, they both entered the argument mode. They did not stop until Nathaniel's manager had to excuse himself from the car, because it was becoming really hot in there.
