CHAPTER THIRTEEN

7:00am.

It was the earliest Liam had woken up on a weekend. Normally he'd sleep in on weekends with Jasmine and whenever they both woke up, they'd try to eat whatever they could make out of the ingredients in the kitchen. But it was different that weekend. Jasmine wasn't around or coming over and the kitchen was empty. 

Steve offering to help him with cooking was going to be perfect. He wasn't that bad of a cook but he was sure he could use a hand. Especially one from someone who seemed so confident about his cooking.

By 7:30am he was all freshened up. He headed downstairs and served the last bits of cereal the carton had to offer, feeling the wide empty space in the bowl with milk.
