2.

"Take him away, he's bloody lying!" The woman suddenly shouted, almost leaping.

And then, they carried on pulling him away.

Pain shot through O'Connell, causing goosebumps to rise on his every single pore. Because he was being humiliated and embarrassed again. All he went there for, was for a job. But then, he was being misquoted and humiliated, because of his looks. Worst, the witchy white devil of a woman, wasn't helping matters at all.

She just saw him, took one look at him, and decided she didn't like him. He knew.

But he wanted them to give him a chance to see her boss.

"What's going on in here!?" Someone yelled. Putting everything to halt. Even the hefty body guards. One had the door opened, while the other was holding O'Connell like a toy.

And the voice, belong to a man.

He looked quite old, with greying hair. And had a giant scowl on his face like the 'Grinch'

He took slowly and steadily footsteps, until he was standing in front of the whole scene.

"This kid, said he's here for a job interview." The woman jerked her finger towards O'Connell's direction, panting heavily like she just did a marathon.

And this made O'Connell glare at her, with his body swelling with so much hatred for her.

"For the love of Christ, I am not a kid." O'Connell stated matter of factly, panting agressively. Causing his shoulders to rise and fall. As he glowered daggers at the woman. "I am an adult. A twenty four years old, fucking adult. You bi-" He grinded his teeth, to restrain himself from pronouncing the full word. Because he didn't wanted to paint a bad picture, at the place he wanted to secure a job.

But everyone present knew what he wanted to say.

The woman's mouth parted in shock. She tried to say something, but she could not. She repeated the action twice.

The employees had their heads popped out from their offices, watching the whole scene unfolding in front of them.

Even a camera man, was video shooting this. And he hurriedly stopped, when everyone stared at him.

"I'll just d-d-delete this." He stuttered, then hurriedly walked away.

Meanwhile, the man who seem like the boss to O'Connell, face palmed. He quickly fastened his eyes to O'Connell, just in time to see the boy looking at him.

He sighed, then signalled the body guards to release O'Connell. When they obeyed, he waved them off.

"Uh, thanks?" O'Connell said in a calm manner, but was clenching and unclenching his fists. Innocence could be seen on his facial expression, but the way his veins were bulging out along his neck, one would know his body was invigorating for a fight.

"Who do you say, you're looking for again?" The man asked, with his chin raised up, as he studied O'Connell.

"I'm here to see the boss of this place, which I believe is you. On seeing how you just ordered those men out." He paused to blink, then gave a slight one shoulder shrug. "I'm here for a job."

"Mr Armit, Can't you see how obvious it is, that he is a lawbreaker?" The woman directed this statement to the man. In attempt of convincing him to kick O'Connell out. And this made O'Connell clenched his fists. He had swore to his mom that he would never hit a woman. But this one wanted to make him break that vow.

"To your office, Mrs Hemingway." The man said this to the woman, over his shoulder. With his voice, leaving no room for argument.

The woman's facial expression formed into a frown. Making O'Connell smile maliciously at her. Glad that she was the one who was now getting embarrassed.

It's clear she's a witch. He muttered under his breath, while maintaining eye contact with.

She finally stomped away, after throwing him one last look of displeasure.

While O'Connell rewarded her with a lopsided smirk.

"You, come with me." The man said to him, as he turned around and began walking along the hallway. O'Connell hadn't fail to see mockery in his eyes, and discern a hint of uncertainty in his gruff voice.

"Mister Williamsburg, you seem to be stuck in your own world for the past five minutes." The said person, pulled O'Connell out of his thoughts.

And O'Connell, gulped, and then blinked. His senses jerking into him.

Meanwhile, Mr Armit was staring at him in a cautious manner.

"You don't have to be so serious about everything, sir. Even if you won't hire me, I would advice you to give your self a break from everything. You seem stressed out, alright?" He said, his big eyes behind his even bigger glasses, had honesty in them.

And Mr Armit's mouth flapped open, in shock at this. He closed his mouth, and then opened it. Then repeated the action twice.

It baffled him, how someone he just met, could tell he was stressed out. None of his employee cared to tell him this. So he returned his eyes to the boy in front of him. He looked even younger than the age on his CV, but had a huge muscular body. O'Connell's face looked sixteen to him. Like his grand son. Meanwhile, all his employees were above thirty.

Aside that, the boy was overly confident of himself. And smart too.

Plus he had this slight irish accent, pale skin, but his facial features looked somewhat African.

Hopefully if he hired the boy, he would do a good job right? Mr Armit wondered.
