Chapter 4

I saw them both went outside. I breathed deeply and turned my head to Von who’s now eating chicken nuggets. It seems like nothing happened. I stared at him and he eventually noticed that. “Why are you staring me like that?” he asked.

Inirapan ko siya at kunot-noong tiningnan. “May sinabi kasi ‘yong babae kanina. Ano nga ulit pangalan n’on?” tanong ko.

“She’s Ella,” she shortly respond.

“That’s all?” I asked him.

He took a deep breath and sadly smiled at me. “I used to like her before. She is the kind of girl that I want to be with.  I thought she’s a friend. I thought she was genuine towards me back then, but I was wrong. She just made fun of me after I confessed.”
