Soon, I walked into the front door of my apartment. It had been twenty-four hours since I’d been there, and it seemed desolate somehow. Empty. I quickly pushed the thought aside as I hung up my coat and dressed in casual jeans and a nice blue shirt and matching light sweater—the kind that’s longer in the front than in the back.

Then, I headed out to the kitchen and decided to make some good old-fashioned spaghetti and meatballs. Logan had always called it ‘comfort food for the soul’.
