When I managed to calm down, I explained the whole flashback to Ryan who now was just sat on the bed staring ahead.
"You have to tell them," he says looking over at me, after a while of just silence.
"Ryan I can't do that, she's Jessie's wife," I say, pointing out the obvious in the situation, but he just stands up.
"It's because she's Jessie's wife is why we have to tell them," he says without warning he walks towards the bedroom door, I run after him shouting his name but he doesn't stop and continues to walk downstairs.
"Where's the king and queen?" He asks a butler as he gets to the bottom of the stairs, while I was only halfway down.
We all make our way back upstairs, my mother was holding the blanket in her hands while I stay close to Ryan, no one spoke for a few minutes I don't think anyone knew what to actually say. The twins run over saying what they got from the party they went to, Jessie who smiles acting like everything was fine taking the things, Justin turns drying his eyes before smiling down at the twins. "Come on let's go get you a drink, while dad talks with Melissa and Lukas," he says, leading the twins away. "I want to go and speak with Ryan's parents," I say which just makes everyone look over at me shocked, especially Ryan. "Savannah, I can't let you do that," my father says, but I just give him a look, that isn't entirely true.
Once Justin gets out the eyes were already on him, how's it gonna be when I leave the car? He holds his hand out for me as soon as I left the car I felt eyes on me in every direction. The guards in the black jeeps get out pushing a few people away as Justin whispers to me. "Is it always like this?" He whispers, looking around at the hundreds of eyes on us, no I can't say it is, I see Gabbie pushing people out the way trying to get closer to me as the head walks out the school and over to Justin and me, who still hadn't moved from our previous spot. "Welcome back Savannah, I really didn't think you'd come back after hearing the news" he smiles nicely at me, wow there's a first time for everything, normally he's screaming down my neck for doing something wrong "and you must be Justin, your father called and explained you'd be watching over Sav
A little while later my parents walk through the door, followed by Ryan and Jessie, I had calmed down a little but I knew if I saw her even now, I wouldn't even think twice about attacking her. "What happened?" My mother asks running over to me checking my face, but when she looks down at my hands she gets tears in her eyes "look at your hands" she says, I was hitting her so hard my hands were all cut up and bloody, I just sat there staring at the wall trying to keep my anger at bay. "Welcome your majesty's yes Savannah, Justin and another girl got into a fight in the middle of a lesson," the headteacher tells them, as Ryan walks over taking my hand in his looking over my cuts. "may one of you explain what happened? " he asks towards Justin and
After getting home, Ryan went straight to our bedroom leaving my family and me, the whole ride home he didn't speak to anyone, he didn't even look at my parents at all. I mean I understand, his parents have just been dragged away in front of him because my parents locked them up, but they did kidnap me and kept me away from my parents for 15 years, so I understand where both sides are coming from, which makes me stuck in the middle. "He's gonna be alright he just needs time to calm down," I say, he makes his way up the stairs towards our bedroom, my father walks over placing his hand on my shoulder making me look up at him. "You did well today with his parents," he says smiling, I look to the floor smiling a little too, it wasn't easy seeing them. "It was har
I woke up in bed wrapped in Ryan's arms, I smile laying there for a second, but it didn't last long as my alarm for school went off. Ryan wakes up rubbing his eyes as I lean over turning the alarm off, but as I moved I felt something slip off my neck, I look down to see the necklace Ryan got me laying in the bed. "It came off, I thought it couldn't," I say holding up the necklace, a bit sad that it quickly fell off, he smiles. "It won't until its done its job, now you're marked it came off itself," he says I look down at the necklace, that sucks I actually loved it, Ryan reaches over taking it from me "we'll put it in the draw so it's safe," he says placing it in the draw beside him, that isn't the same. "Well I better get ready," I say climbing out of bed and towards th
We walk through the forest for a while, I didn't know where the heck we were at this point but I trusted Max knew, in the distance, I start seeing lights, I look up to Max who just smiles as I see buildings and people walking around going about there day. It looked like a hidden community, as we get closer people start to look towards us. "Welcome to our little village," a man says as we stop in the middle of the village, he looks towards me smiling "What is your name child?" He asks me smiling, I look up to Max who nods and smiles to everyone here seems so happy. "Savannah," I say looking around, everyone at this point was looking at us, but mostly me. "Savannah, welcome to our village, you will be safe here if you need anything come to see me" he smiles as Max wa
Once I was home, I didn't eat and just went straight to my room wanting to be alone to think everything through, I nearly fell asleep but loud voices coming from downstairs woke me up, I sit up listening closely to the muffled voices. "What were you thinking bringing her here?!" The man that I think runs this place shouts, he sounds really angry. "You always say when someone needs help to bring them here and you'll look after them," Max's voice says a bit quieter probably more calm than the other dude. "Normally yes, but she's the princess, last time she went missing those people kept coming here thinking we had her, smashing everything up" the guy shouts, it sounded like he threw something "when they come and find her that's it for us, all of us," he says I
Rudy's POV It was the next morning after I met Savannah, I shoved a smart suit in a bag getting ready to leave to meet Savannah's parents, to say I was nervous was a huge understatement, I really can't be caught doing this, even if I am the leader's son I'll be punished so hard. I sling the bag on my back leaving my house, it was really early in the morning so no one was around, I walk through the village but I stop when I get to where Savannah was, I look up at her bedroom window. I really need to get her out this place before it changes her, like I've seen it do to other people. My name being called snaps me out my trace, I turn to see my father walking over to me, I remain calm trying to act as normal as I could. "Where are you off to so early?" He asks,
