Chapter 189

As they walk away, Jenny is very conscious of the hand holding hers. Even though her hand was promised to Christian, there was a strange pull in her heart towards the man holding her hand.

The place his skin touched her was burning, and she felt like sparks of electricity passed through her hand when their skin met. It was so fast that Jenny felt like she had imagined it.

Her face was a shade of red when they finally reached the vehicle. Charles had no intention of letting go of her hand the entire walk. Nobody could understand what was going on in his mind.

Christian does not really talk much during the drive to Jenny’s accommodation. But Charles engages Jenny in small talks. And all his questions were oddly all about her hometown, family, and grandfather.
