Chapter 23

Matt and Sergetti continued towards the valley. Matt was still very upset. He breathed heavily. If he could be granted what he wanted most, right now, it was killing Sergetti.

"If you think you have seen the worst of me. Brace yourself, there could still be more that will be worse" Sergetti let out. It seemed he had noticed how upset Matt was.

"Should that surprise me or threaten me?Isn't that the way of the wizards? Causing unbelievable havoc?" Matt retorted. He didn't want to be talking with him anymore.

"Those are not the ways of the wizards. They are endowed with their powers to take control of the world and put it in order" Sergetti explained like a martyr would do.

"And you are putting your own in order by first kidnapping my wife and now putting her in bondage" Matt said straight to his face. He wanted him to be angry.

"I needed your wife to save the whole world. That was my plan" Sergetti seemed to be becoming remorseed.

"My wi
