Chapter 40: Accident

Everything was blurry. I can’t even feel my legs. I don’t hear anything except for the ringing in my ears. My heart, I can’t hear my heart. I think it stopped beating. 

“Bliss! Bliss!” My dad called me. I hugged my parents when I saw them. They’re also here in the hospital. 

“What happened?” He asked. 

“I-I don’t know. I just heard a honking, then something crashed, then I saw Ace...” I started crying again. I couldn’t even talk properly. There is a lump in my throat that's hindering me from talking. All I want is to cry.  

“T-there on the ground.”  My mom hugged me tightly. I don’t know what happened. Everything was so fast that I couldn’t comprehend. It was my fault. E
