Chapter 41: Goodbye (Final chapter)
Ace is still in the hospital, the doctor said that he needs to stay in the hospital for a while because his injury was mainly in his head, so he has to be monitored. I still feel guilty that he has to suffer from this, but I’m glad that I am able to take care of him.
If I didn't change my mind about France, I’ll be leaving 3 days from now. I think it would be selfish if I go there and leave Ace alone here. I haven’t told him yet about this, but I’m sure he will understand.
He’s sleeping soundly now. Though, sometimes, I’m still anxious about seeing him sleeping. I’m still scared that he might not wake up this time. But I have to let go of that thought. That kind of negativity should stay away from me. I have to keep in my mind that he is safe now and everything will be alright.
