Becoming Beta Female was no easy feat. The first week was hellacious.
Half of the male shifters hated me because I was a woman. A woman as a beta or alpha was still relatively a new thing. I mean the USA just got their first female vice president last election. Everyone is seriously behind the times.
The Gamma is in charge of the training and when I try to set stuff up for the pack he completely ignores me. Grayson gets super angry but I tell him not to use his Alpha command on anyone because I want them to respect me and not his words.
The boys are still in daycare everyday. I pick them up in the afternon and head home to take care of the house and the farm. I only eat at the pack house when Grayson and Marissa do.
