Forgive Me, Mom

The next morning…

Rodney took his mom's right hand in his palm, without removing his gaze from her sleeping face. I also watch her on the bed with pure adoration.

Yesterday, reconciliation was really touching; I couldn't help but cry along with both mother and son. Rodney wouldn't stop asking for her forgiveness; and she would just smile at him, lovingly.

The woman really seems so nice.

“Forgive me, mom” I heard him mumbled.

I placed my right hand on his back, but he didn't budge, he only watched her face; stroking her right hand tenderly.

I heard a soft knock from outside, I slowly stood up to get it; I bent the doorknob as soon as I got to the door and opened it widely for the person.

Oh, Joanna!?

I was actually thinking it was a nurse.

I turned to return into the room, yes; it was a room; I learned it was their personal hospital.

I walked back to my previous position, next to Rodney.
