Chapter five
It was one of those days when I woke up with that hollow feeling in my chest. When I had the same dream that turned into a nightmare when I woke up.
It would always start with me coming from school and seeing my mom standing in front of the door. I'd grin widely and rush to her. She'd pick me up in her arms and kiss my cheek.
"How is my little prince doing?" She'd ask.
"I'm fine mommy."
Then we'd go back into the house. She'd help me with my homework. Feed me cookies and milk, then in a couple of hours, my dad would be home. With always a new coloring book for me or a new ball or something.
I'd play with it for some time and then be sent off to my room to get ready for bed.
After I am done getting ready for bed, my mom or dad or both of them would come into my room, read me a bedtime story and tuck me in. Then I'd fall asleep in the dream and wake up in real life,
