Chapter 0003

Zhou Fu's grandfather was named Li Xian. Physically, Li Xian had absolutely no resemblance to Zhou Fu, Li Xian had a short stature and small bones while Zhou Fu, despite being only six years old, one could see that Zhou Fu was the descendant of a stout man. Li Xian was actually not Zhou Fu's biological grandfather, but he always thought that Zhou Fu was his own biological grandson.

As in that night, Li Xian hugged Zhou Fu's body who was sleeping curled up in a cold earth-bottomed cave. Every now and then Li Xian stroked the boy's head as if Zhou Fu was a baby. When Zhou Fu fell asleep, Li Xian always saw the exhausted face of a child. Zhou Fu's body was covered with lacerations, beast bite wounds, impact wounds, and various other injuries that were actually quite gruesome for a child of Zhou Fu's age to endure.

While Li Xian always harbored compassion for his little grandson, Zhou Fu grew up to be a numb child. He didn't understand to what people called as a sadness, he didn't understand to what people called as a happiness. What he felt was, restless and worried if he failed to carry out his grandfather's duties, excited when he succeeded in fulfilling his grandfather's mission. If one day Zhou Fu was injured, whether it was minor or serious, he would never cry because it seemed that he did not know the function and how to cry. What he does when he is in pain is, feels uncomfortable and wants to be free from the pain.

"Ah, looks like he fell asleep from exhaustion! Poor little boy!" Li Xian whispered in a low voice. "Well, then, it's time to give a heal for him!"

Li Xian used to heal Zhou Fu's wounds. Li Xian sat cross-legged facing Zhou Fu's back who was sleeping curled up. His eyes were closed as he chanted some incantations that he probably meant to heal his grandson. His two palms moved as if sweeping the air that was all over Zhou Fu's body. He always did the healing so that Zhou Fu would wake up in the good health in the morning. Of course, Li Xian did the healing without ever telling Zhou Fu so that the child would not rely too much on instant healing whenever he was injured.

After Li Xian felt that his healing was complete, Li Xian got up to observe Zhou Fu's headless hunting elephant. He smiled at the array of traps Zhou Fu had set to trap the elephant. There is a large stalactite measuring approximately five meters long that stuck firmly into the elephant's back, causing the elephant to lose his life.

Suddenly, Li Xian frowned for a while. He noticed a strange mark on the right side of the belly of Zhou Fu's elephant. There, there was a red mark in the shape of a fist which turned out to be the same mark on the side of the elephant's stomach, but in a different shape. If on the right side of the stomach there appears to be a hand blow from the outside, on the left side of the elephant's stomach it actually indicates that the part seems to have been hit from the inside.

“Does that mean…”

Li Xian took a closer look at the red mark. His observation lasted for about ten minutes before he finally showed a very happy expression mixed with pride. It was a shadow stroke, a move whose complexity often made some warriors give up on learning it. Shadow blow is a move that can injure the bodies of several opponents at once because the move has a fairly long wavelength of damage.

In fact, there were already several moves that Zhou Fu had mastered very well at such a young age. But Li Xian was quite surprised and amazed because his little grandson had already managed to master a technique that was classified as complicated to master. Li Xian also cut the elephant's body with the elephant's tusk. Sure enough, there was a tinge of blue that stretched from start to finish of the blow that Zhou Fu had delivered. Li Xian didn't care whether Zhou Fu used the punch to kill his prey, or if he was just hit on a whim because he was furious that he didn't come to help right away.

"You've been quite successful my grandson," Li Xian smiled as his hand rummaged through the elephant's internal organs to observe how much the blow injured its target.

Zhou Fu woke up when he felt the ground he was crouching on suddenly trembled violently. His eyes widened when he saw the large stalactites hanging above the cave suddenly one by one falling down. He who is not yet fully aware is forced to force his body to be alert in a state.

"Damn it! Grandpa didn't even give me time to get up late!” Zhou Fu got up and ran out of the cave while occasionally dispelling the giant stalactites that were about to hit his body. Zhou Fu was sure his grandfather was acting up in the cave, taking certain moves to put his life in danger.

This was not done once or twice by Li Xian. When Zhou Fu was five years old, Li Xian even dared to throw his grandson into a pack of wolves that were hungry for prey.

“Ha ha ha… Let's wake up, lazy kid! You're lazy, when I was at your age, I only slept no more than two hours a night! And you, you slept more than five hours each night! What a lazy kid!" There was laughter from above the cave, from that voice, Zhou Fu was sure that his grandfather was enjoying his struggle fighting against sleepiness while dispelling the spiky boulder that could crush his body at any time.

"When I grow up, watch out for you! I'll throw you into a herd of savage lions while you're asleep! Or, I'll bury you in a land of venomous snakes! Remember that!" said Zhou Fu when he managed to get out of the cave. He was panting heavily as he forced his sleepy body to be alert. He looked up, holding up his index finger. Yes, Zhou Fu is indeed very displeased if his sleep is disturbed. According to him, sleeping is one of the most enjoyable things. Because, in fact it is, as long as Zhou Fu's eyes are not closed, he is always burdened with heavy tasks by his grandfather.

From the top of the cave, Li Xian was half running in the air then approached Zhou Fu who seemed to be harboring anger. As soon as he arrived right in front of Zhou Fu, he found Zhou Fu immediately rewarding him with a punch, from his movement, Li Xian knew that Zhou Fu was about to reward him with a shadow punch. Li Xian smiled and let his stomach get hit by Zhou Fu's heavy punch. With Li Xian's undoubted quality, he was sure that his grandson's punch would only be like a mosquito bite.

"A thousand shadows hit!"

Buuuug!!!

As soon as the punch landed on his stomach, he felt a shockwave that was quite painful. His spine was like being hit by a lump of steel.

Duaaar!!!

There was a rock at the front of the cave which was split open when Zhou Fu launched his attack.

'Damn it, I didn't think it would hit this hard!'

Li Xian thought, but instead, another sentence came out of his mouth,

"What kind of punch is that, even a baby deer will only got itched if it's hit that way!"
