Chapter 0008

It was a normal case when someone firstly steps on on a small island, the first thing he heard was the roar of the various jungle animals. But, it didn’t happen in Youhi island. The scenery of Youhi forest looked normal. However, Li Xian felt that there must be something wrong with the island.

"Fu'er, you’re better take a little rest here while I want to confirm something!"

"Okay. If there is a danger, don't hesitate to ask for my help." Zhou Fu suggested with a serious expression, it seemed that he had already felt like a hero ever since he defeated the enemy on the other day with just a single punch.

"Tch, you little brat!" Li Xian said as he looked at Zhou Fu's face with an exasperated expression.

“Grandpa, I’m totally serious! Let me give another single punch whenever you meet an enemy!”

“Yeah. As you wish!” said Li Xian.

Li Xian walked carefully, he wondered what made the forest so become quiet. Li Xian's steps stopped when he found a large rock that seemed to have been deliberately placed in the forest aunt and quite close to the beach location. The boulder is at least 15 times the size of an adult's body. All sides of the stone have the same shape, which is hollow and looks like something has been eroded.

“Welcome to Youhi Island. Immediately leave this island if you still want to breathe!”

Li Xian read the carvings on the giant stone, although some of the writings seemed to be cut off due to the porous condition of the stone, Li Xian was quite sure if about something. Usually, a good traveler is willing to give such as signal whenever they met the dangerous places.

“My grandson! Come here!”

Li Xian called Zhou Fu to ask something and Zhou Fu approached immediately. Li Xian could see that Zhou Fu's eyes had dark bags, his lips were blue and his skin was getting tan. Even so, his eyes were still bright, it seemed that he was really happy to be able to take a walk out of Konglong Island.

“Fu'er – my grandson, how about we set sail again looking for another island? Based on the notes on the stone, Grandpa thought that there was something dangerous on this island. What do you think?"

"Danger? Does that mean challenging? All right, let's see what's kind of threat awaiting us her, if there's something dangerous inside, we'll beat it together!”

Without waiting for approval from his grandfather, Zhou Fu stepped into the forest with his head up, as if he wanted to introduce how great he was to Youhi Island. Li Xian shook his head at his little grandson who liked to challenge everything called 'danger'.

"Oh yeah, hasn't it been a long time we haven't eat, Grandpa? It seems that my stomach is getting smaller now!"

After more than three miles of travel, Li Xian and Zhou Fu found nothing. Zhou Fu repeatedly asked Li Xian why they seemed to be alone in the forest. Li Xian couldn't answer because he hadn't found a single clue. Until some time later, there was a rumbling sound that came from nowhere. Li Xian gripped Zhou Fu's shoulder to warn him to be careful.

Zhou Fu looked in all directions, he hoped that the roar was the sound of beasts they could eat their flesh. Zhou Fu also hoped that the beasts would be a little more difficult to defeat because while on Konglong Island he was very bored with beasts that were easy to defeat.

Not long after, the roar was getting louder and louder, even making the ears almost deaf from so loud. Li Xian knew the voice, he shouted at Zhou Fu before it was too late. But in fact he was too late, Li Xian's voice sank. Drowning in the true sense.

Li Xian wanted to shout at Zhou Fu to cling to a tree or climb up a tall tree. But before the words reached Zhou Fu's ears, Youhi Island was hit by a large earthquake and accompanied by a tsunami whose waves were higher than even the tallest tree on the island.

Li Xian was able to survive quite well in the sweeping tsunami storm, his body hit trees and rocks many times but it didn't hurt him in the slightest. He was also able to not breathe for some time when Youhi Island was sunk by the tsunami waves.

But, what about little Zhou Fu?

Li Xian shuddered at the thought of how Zhou Fu's small body was swept away by the giant waves. Where did Zhou Fu drift off to? How are things right now? Does he understand what to do?

Li Xian swam at maximum speed and circled in various directions to find his grandson's body. To Li Xian's surprise, Youhi Island sank in more than half an hour. That was too long a duration for a single wave of water to be able to submerge an entire island in a single blow.

The question of why there were no animals in the forest, at least now, was answered. Of course, not a single animal has survived such a vicious natural disaster. However, it no longer bothered Li Xian. His head is only filled with where Zhou Fu drifted, how is Zhou Fu.

The atmosphere on Youhi Island was a bit more normal after the earthquake, Li Xian continued his search but the search was fruitless even though the day had changed. Yes, Zhou Fu has been missing for more than 24 hours. If Zhou Fu was still on the island, Li Xian was sure he had found it because he had traveled to every corner of the small island.

Still, Zhou Fu's nose didn't show the slightest bit.

The day has changed again, Li Xian's search has not found a bright spot. The desperate Li Xian chose to sit on the edge of the island, right on the beach where he and his grandson first arrived on Youhi Island. Li Xian hoped that somehow there would be a miracle from God so that little Zhou Fu could survive the raging tsunami the other day.

And it seemed, God had indeed granted Li Xian's wish. Looking far away from the middle of the ocean, his eyes found a dot that was moving closer and closer. The little dot makes a sound that rises and falls,

"Grandpa!!! Grandpa!!! Finally we can eat meat! I found this big fish in the ocean!”

Yes, it is indeed Zhou Fu. Li Xian was almost moved to hear his grandson's excited voice. Li Xian seemed to regret his confusion and sadness those two days, in fact, the person he was worried about didn't even seem to need to worry.

Zhou Fu reached the shore panting heavily, he dragged a large, lifeless whale. His body was wet with sweat mixed with seawater.

"Thank goodness! Thank God, you saved my grandson!” Li Xian spoke while stroking Zhou Fu's wet head.

Zhou Fu looked up and asked, "Who's God? I got no help from anyone! I caught this fish alone you know?!”
