Lucas is awake
Everyone turned to gaze at Lucas who stood watching them and wondering what was going on.
“Why are you all staring at me like that?” Lucas asked.
Everyone was dumbfounded. Lucas saw Kara lying lifeless and soaked in blood in the governor’s arms. He rushed towards him and carried her from the governor’s arms sobbing.
“What happened to her?” he yelled between sobs.
“S-she was hit and died from the wounds.” The governor replied between sobs as he stepped back to allow Lucas access to his sister.
“What!?” Lucas did not quite understand. He did not realize that there was a war going on while he was asleep for months.
“You have been in a coma for months.” The witch explained.
“What?” Lucas was confused. “Comma?”
“Yes, you too were hit by the war tank when the priest was still fighting against us,” Raul explained.
