Chapter 88
Brooklyn-
My intention to continue with last night was sadly interrupted by a loud banging on my front door. Before even making it to the bedroom, Tate cursed out loud, obviously having the same desire to take me back to bed.
He stopped in the hall, I wanted to tell him just to ignore it and they would go away, but the knocking came again, sounding more urgent than before. Setting me down, he turned around and was just about to walk away when I grabbed his arm and held him back.
“How about you go get dressed and I will see what it is?” I stated, pulling him towards me.
As he turned back towards me, I saw his eyes had become darker. I was sure it was his wolf that was present at the time. Almost immediately his eyes went back to normal, and he sighed.
“We will finish this later.” He stated, with a firmness to his voice that was filled with such determination, I couldn’t help but anticipate just what the next time would be like for us.
