Chapter 93
I guess whatever you run from keeps coming back to you. Like an addiction or so. You tell yourself you do not want to do it anymore, you do not want a part of it again. But at the end of the day, you find yourself in it again.
That is just like my chronicles with the Green Woods pack since I escaped from it a few weeks ago. For two different reasons, I’ve had to come back. And those two reasons were really worth the risk. If one has a connection with the topmost body, why wouldn’t it come easy to penetrate a place you should be dreading?
This time around, it took a lot of mental convincing that I needed to be here. Two days ago when I had been here with Garrett for the books, what had happened after that was something I wouldn’t want to be repeated. And I’m talking about the two events that nearly got me killed.
