Chapter Nine (Part One)

Jordyn opened her eyes and wiped her face, shocked that she had gotten one arm free. Her nose was telling her she was in the same place as before, even though it looked like a bomb had gone off and blown up half of the room. Dust was still settling around the room but she couldn’t really smell anything that could have done that amount of damage. Was it her that caused all the destruction?

“I believe you chipped my fang.” The way he spoke had the hair on her neck standing up. He sounded calm which she knew could be even more dangerous than screaming and yelling.

She tugged on the one arm that was still chained, hoping that whatever had blown up had done some damage to that one. It clanked, making all of her hopes go out the window. “You bit me.” She answered.
