Chapter Twelve (Part One)

“Jordyn, what the hell was that?” Myra snapped with her hands on her hips. “He was just trying to help you and comfort you..”

“Myra, I can’t feel Silver anymore. I think she’s gone.” Jordyn admitted as she sat up, pulling her knees into her chest and wrapping her arms around them. “When I broke free I shifted and ran, but I couldn’t talk to Silver at all, then without me wanting too I shifted back to human. I was cold, naked, and defenseless, trying to hide under a tree. I couldn’t run as fast as usual and I felt really weak.”

“Jordyn, that’s terrible.” Myra rushed over to the bed and gave her a comforting hug. “It could just be a side effect of the wolfsbane.”

“Silver has never left me before Myra, she’s always been there, even when she’s mad.” Jordyn stated. “What if he took her from me forever?”
