24: Flying
*Soleil*
A familiar humming sound meets me as I get out of Gudrun's car. It got dark as we drove up through Central Britain. But even at night, the forest and its creatures are awake and welcome me with their own voice.
I take a deep breath and let the ambiance propagate all the way into my soul. Finally I feel peace. Life at home leaves my consciousness with each breath, and every new breath of the fresh cool night air fills me with a bubbling happiness.
I spin around and laugh, feeling liberated.
"Will it be okay if I go for a jog ?"
"It's all right, dear". Siri replies. "We have no duties tonight anyway".
