Chapter 4

Until now, Yassi still couldn't believe what she heard from Assi's father. She and Prince Reikel will be getting married soon? It's a big change in the story. Prince Reikel was supposed to get married to Denria and not her. And, she can't get married to him because she will go back to the real world.

Although Prince Reikel is a good catch because he is handsome and also a prince, she is still unwilling to get married to him. He is just a character inside a comic book. He is not real. Everything about him was fake. He is just a fruit of the wide imaginations of the author in the real world. While she is human from the real world. How can she be together with a character inside a story? And did Prince Reikel agreed to marry her?

"Lady Yassi, what are you thinking about? I notice that you're being silent since we entered here in your room."

Flera disrupts her thoughts. And speaking of her room, she looks around and notices that Assi's room is very simple for a daughter of a prime minister. But it's okay, the room smell good because of the incense and it's tidy. The room has two curtains made with small crystal beads with the color pink. She likes it because it's her favorite color. But she thinks that curtains will suit her room in the real world rather than here. And in fairness, Assi's bed and pink quilt were soft and smooth. She loves it.

"I'm thinking whether Prince Reikel agrees to marry me or not. And what about Denria? I think she likes the prince very much," she said to her maid, Flera.

Flera thought for a moment before she speaks. "I don't think Prince Reikel will disobey his father's command. And it's a decree from the king so whether he likes it or not, he must marry you. And regarding Lady Denria, she has no say about your wedding because My Lord is the one who decides and let you marry the prince instead of her."

Yassi took a deep sigh." Does Prince Reikel likes Denria?"

"Uhm...they were childhood sweetheart. Everybody thinks that they were getting married soon but lately, Prince Reikel seems to have a cold shoulder on her."

So the story has been rewritten from the beginning. My arrival in this world changes the whole plot.

"Flera, will you believe me if I tell you now that I am not your Lady Assi?" Yassi asked Flera. "I am not part of this world. My real name is Yassi Lancaster and I came from the real world and I mysteriously entered into this world. This world is not true. We were inside the book. And all things in this world, everything that happened in here and all the people living in here was just a creation, a plot that written by the author's wide imagination in the real world where I came from."

Yassi hopes that Flera will believe her so she can talk to someone freely and not pretending that she's Assi. It's so hard for her to pretend as Lady Assi. And she doesn't know how long she can still pretend as her.

"W-what d-did you say, Lady Yassi? T-this world is not true? Everything here was not true? And you don't belong here?" asked Flera while stuttering. Her eyes widened and shock is visible on her face.

Yassi can't guess whether her maid believes what she said just now. Flera still looks surprised and couldn't absorb all the things that she said. She knows that it's hard to believe her and it is also hard to convince people to believe what she said is true.

"Flera? Are you okay?"

Yassi strongly taps her maid's shoulder whose still in shock.

"Are you telling the truth, Lady Yassi? You're not kidding me, right?" asked Flera, still unable to believes her. "It's so hard to digest the words that you said. But come to think of it, when I called you earlier, you didn't answer me as if you don't know me.

"When you met Prince Reikel you seem very surprised and it looks like you didn't know him. Although Lady Assi didn't meet Prince Reikel in person she still knows him because of Prince Karim. And we already saw the second prince from afar. And you also acts weird when I first saw you."

"Yes! That's right! Everything you just said was right. And it's because I'm not your Lady Assi. This world is just inside a comic book. And I came from there—"

Yassi couldn't continue what she is saying because Flera suddenly passed out in front of her.

She moves Flera's body and puts her on top of her bed. She should fell asleep so she can escape from this house. She comes out of her room and finds her way out. She can't stay in this house anymore or else she will be married to a character in a comic book. And she feels it ridiculous. She will not let it happen so she will have to escape from this house.

"My gosh! Why is this house is so big! I couldn't find where the gate is," annoys she said to herself. She didn't memorize earlier when Flera brought jer to Assi's room.

Assi's house is so big. There were plenty of rooms inside. She can't memorize all the ways and all the rooms in just a day. But she has to try finding the gate so she can get away from this house and that fixed marriage. She smiles widely when she finally saw the gate where she entered earlier.

She's happy that she can finally come out of this house. She hurriedly walks to the gate before anyone can see her. But before she can be able to reach the gate, two maids already saw her and called her name.

"Where are you going, Lady Assi?" asked the maid who first saw her.

Yassi stops walking. She turns around with a forced smile plaster on her face. "I'm bored inside so I'm going to walk around outside to ease my boredom."

"But your father told us not to let you go outside the house," said the other.

"I just wanted to walk outside. What's wrong with it?" she said, feeling irritated. She feels like she was a captive in this house. So she must go out of this house by hook or by crook.

Yassi quickly ran to the gate. The two maids immediately chased her for fear of being punished by their master once she got out of that house.

She felt happy when she reached the entrance of the gate. She thinks that she can finally come out. She quickly opened the closed gate so she could get out immediately. But at the same time, as she opened the gate, the person outside is also pushing the gate to open. She didn't expect the gate to open from outside so she was pushed by the door and flew away into the ground. Her eyes widely open when she saw the person who pushed the gate from outside.

Prince Reikel? What is he doing here? How can I get out now?
