Chapter three

All the guests were stunned by Andrea's beauty. She has a sophisticated beauty, and almost like a goddess. Andrea's eyes were glued to the hazel pair of eyes as she descended the long stairs. Everyone was amazed at her grace as if the Alpha of Nort Pack, her foster father, really took care of her. The man who owned the pair of hazel eyes went to the front of the stairs to greet her. Smiling, the man paid tribute in front of her. He bowed as he placed his left hand on his back.

"You look like a goddess who came down from heaven. It is my first time seeing a beautiful woman like you. I'm Alpha Bryan Williams. I dream of being your mate, Miss Andrea Garcia," Alpha Bryan Williams said as if in a noble Man's words. He took Andrea's hand and kissed the back of Andrea's hand. Andrea felt electricity so she immediately withdrew her hand. She felt strange to Alpha Bryan. In Alpha Bryan's style of speech he seems to be an expert in praising women and how to capture a woman’s attention and heart.

At some point, I didn’t like him. He is like a Casanova. My bad, I shouldn’t judge him. She thought. Andrea smiled at Alpha Bryan and turned her gaze to Alpha Gregor Cuenca. Alpha Gregor is a bit older than her father.

"Hija! Advance happy birthday. How are you? If only your father and mother could see you today, they would definitely be proud of you today," said Alpha Gregor. Andrea just smiled. Alpha Gregor suddenly introduced his son.

"This is my eldest son, Brandon. He will replace me as Alpha one day," Alpha Gregor introduced his son. Brandon reached his right hand in front of Andrea to get Andrea's hand, but someone got Andrea's hand. It was the Alpha of the South pack, Bryan Williams.

Alpha Bryan smiled playfully at Alpha Gregor Cuenca while still holding Andrea's hand. All the guests were staring at them. Some started whispering, but it can't really be called a whisper because all the guests could hear them.

"Andrea is so lucky. I heard that the Alpha of the South pack doesn't attend these kinds of events, but he is here now holding Andrea's hand," said a female visitor to her companion.

"Do you know the super wealth of the South pack? No ordinary person can casually enter the South pack. My only question is if Alpha Bryan already has Luna? My other friend saw him with another woman," one of the visitor's said as if they were the only person here talking about someone's life. Alpha Homer suddenly caught the attention of everyone, so Andrea has a reason to get her hand back.

"Everyone, I, the Alpha of North pack, humbly thank you all for coming to my daughter's birthday, Andrea Garcia's birthday," said Alpha Homer with a fake smile. Andrea wanted to vomit because Alpha Homer called her his daughter, in fact when no one is watching, he treats her like trash and never treat his own daughter. Everyone is clapping because of what Alpha Homer said.

"For this night, I would like to request the eighteen men including me to line up for the eighteen dance," Alpha Homer said. Andrea was shocked and nervous. They never told her that they would perform the eighteen dance men. She doesn't even practice. Everyone clapped again, and the eighteen men started to line up. Andrea calmed herself and tried to remember the dance steps. She is familiar with the dance steps because she happened to see Lorry's dance practice last year.

The light was focused on Andrea, and the music started to play. Andrea was very nervous. She wanted to run away instead of dancing. Before she can run, Alpha Homer is the one who dances with her first. Alpha Homer gave her dead sign look that made her nervous. She forced herself to take Alpha Homer's hand, and they danced.

"You useless bad girl. Don't ruin the party I set for you. We need to know your mate, so he can contribute to the North pack," Homer whispered in her ear. Andrea felt disgusted as she danced with a greedy old man, Alpha Homer. Alpha Homer felt the sharp heel of Andrea when it landed on his shoes. Andrea just laughed in her mind because she really meant it. For the first time, she hurt her fake useless foster a father. Andrea saw how Alpha Homer glared at her. She didn't say a word, and felt a relief when the second dancer turned to dance with her. Andrea only smiles at the remaining dancers, and when Alpha Bryan turns, she doesn't feel like smiling at him.

Alpha Bryan Williams smiled at Andrea. He squeezed her hip as he placed his hand on her waist causing Andrea's heartbeat. Andrea couldn't explain how she felt right now. The presence Andrea feels from him the first she sees him is very different from Alpha Bryan in front of her now. Her first impression of him was, he has a mischievous temperament. That was the first thing Andrea thought. But now it’s weird. She felt inferior because Alpha Bryan towered over her. Andrea's face is almost level with Alpha Bryan's broad chest. Even though Andrea was doubting, she placed her right hand on Alpha Bryan's broad right shoulder, and her left hand held Alpha Bryan's left hand.

Everything seems slow when they start to dance. The lights make the two blind from the others, and they can only see each other. Alpha Bryan was amazed at Andrea's beauty. He smiled at Andrea and forgot for a moment what exactly was the reason he was coming here. He suddenly became interested in Andrea.

Alpha Homer, on the other hand, smiled wickedly when he saw Alpha Bryan and Andrea as if they had a world of their own.

If the mate of that worthless woman is poor, I will just sell her to Alpha Bryan. I know Alpha Bryan loves women. Fortunately, I included in my invitation card the message for Alpha Bryan about selling a woman with no parents and relatives to him. I can't believe he came. He thought. Alpha Homer just shook his head as he smiled wickedly because there are so many types of Alpha that have wicked souls.

After Andrea and Alpha Bryan Williams dance, they start to eat. Everyone seems to like the food prepared at the table. Alpha Bryan was curious about everyone's reaction when they eat the food. So, he decided to get a plate and get a small amount of food on his plate.

After he tasted the food, he was surprised. It is his first time to taste such high class food. Alpha Bryan thought that Alpha Homer had a high class chef, so he went to Alpha Homer to ask who made the food. An idea came into Alpha Homer's mind, and he made a greedy smile.

"It is the woman I told you in my message," Alpha Homer said.

"I'll buy her," Alpha Bryan said.

"Are you sure? But, since she is very precious to my kitchen, I won't sell her for a cheap price," said Alpha.

"Name your price," Alpha Bryan said as if money is not a problem in his pocket. Alpha Homer named his price and told Alpha Bryan that he will get the woman after Andrea's shifting. No one heard their conversation because they were away from the crowd.

There is only a short time left before midnight comes. Andrea is breathing hard. Mrs. Marie came to assist her to go into the forest. The clothes are already inside the bag that Mrs. Marie brought. Andrea was aching because something inside her changed.

"Andrea, listen to me. Your changing clothes are already inside this bag. I will leave it here, and I will come back tomorrow to get you. But if I didn't came, you can go home without me. Take care of yourself," said Mrs. Marie, and she left her.

After Mrs. Marie left. The midnight came. Andrea is slowly shifting but the shifting from human structure bone changing to her wolf structure bones are very painful. The shifting really gives her a hellish pain.

In the mansion, Alpha Bryan and his wolf felt pain as if something was trying to rip their heart. He looked at Alpha Homer.

"I will excuse myself for a while, Alpha Homer," said Alpha Bryan. As he got out of the mansion, a strong scent and energy pulled him to the forest.

"Bryan, do you feel it?" Alpha Bryan's wolf, Gil, asked him.

"Yes, finally we found our mate." Alpha Bryan said as he wickedly smiled. Gil was happy, but at the same time he was worried about his mated wolf.

"Forget your plan Bryan. You will regret it." Gil warned him, but he just ignored his wolf. When he reached the forest, he saw Andrea had already changed into her wolf form. Alpha Bryan was starstruck at his mate's wolf form.

Andrea suddenly felt at ease as she smelled a familiar scent running towards her direction. My mate. She thought. Her shifting went smooth and then a voice called her name.

"Andrea, Andrea, Andrea." A female voice called her name.

"Who are you?" Andrea asked. Somewhat, Andrea feels warm from the voice calling her name.

It's me, Diane, your wolf. Diane said. Andrea was happy and suddenly, she felt exhausted. She realized that her wolf was so strong but her weak body couldn't keep up her wolf form for too long. Diane was worried about Andrea and suddenly, Andrea shifted to her human form. She lost her balance and almost fell to the ground when a big black wolf caught her fall. She saw his eyes, and she knew at one glance that the wolf was her mate before she collapsed.
