Chapter four

After Alpha Bryan catched Andrea he shifted in his human form. He covered Andrea’s body in a blanket that he found in Andrea’s bag. Mine. He thought. He glanced one more time before he went back to the mansion.

"She’s beautiful." Gil said.

"Her wolf too." Alpha Bryan said too. He was wearing a smile as he entered the mansion. Every guest was staring at him as if he was like a celebrity. Everyone was talking about who might be the mate of the birthday celebrant. Mason Reyes, Alpha Bryan's right hand, his best friend, approached him immediately when he saw Alpha coming in his way.

“Where have you been?” he asked in an informal tone. Alpha Bryan looked at him and he had a feeling that he wanted to proudly inform everyone what they were looking for.

“Tell everyone I am Andrea’s mate,” said Bryan. Mason was shocked and he couldn't believe that he finally met his Alpha’s mate. For many years they wait for their alpha’s mate, finally they will have Luna in their pack. Without a doubt, Mason believed in his Alpha and he faced everyone as he cleared his throat.

“Listen everyone,” Mason called everyone's attention. Alpha Homer looked at Mason as he looked down at him, Alpha Bryan’s right hand. Don’t tell me that slave is Andrea’s mate? I will sue that girl if my speculation is true. Alpha Homer thought as his eyebrows furrowed.

“I’m Mason Reyes, Alpha Bryan’s right hand. On behalf of my Alpha, I want to inform you that Miss Andrea’s mate is…” everyone was nervous as they listened to what Mason would say. Lorry, Andrea’s step-sister, wishes that Andrea’s mate will be a commoner and poor just like her. She doesn’t want to be left bad. Lorry wanted to be higher than Andrea.

“Alpha Bryan Williams,” Alpha Bryan’s name echoed in the four corners of the mansion. Everyone was shocked. Some guests envy Andrea’s blessing from the moon goddess, but some guests are happy for Andrea. Alpha Homer on the other side grinning. He can’t believe that he really benefits from keeping Andrea in his care. Alpha Homer clapped his hands as he caught everyone’s attention and went to congratulate Alpha Bryan.

“Finally, I met my daughter’s mate. Welcome to our family, Alpha Bryan Williams, the alpha of the wealthy pack, the South pack,” Alpha Bryan said as he emphasized the word wealthy. Everyone clapped their hands for Alpha Bryan. They enjoyed the party until one o’clock. Everyone went home. Only Alpha Bryan, his right hand and two bodyguards are still in the Alpha Homer’s mansion. Alpha Bryan sat on the couch as he thought of Andrea’s face.

“I didn’t know that you still didn't have Luna until Andrea turned in her eighteenth birthday,” Alpha Homer said. Alpha Bryan looked at Mason, and Mason got what his Alpha wanted him to do. Mason faced Alpha Homer.

“Alpha Homer, your limit on talking to my Alpha has reached its limit,” said Mason. Alpha Homer was angry and disgusted with Mason.

“Anything transaction you want to be made with Alpha Bryan, I will be the one answering it,” Mason said. Alpha Homer ignored him and looked at Alpha Bryan.

“The woman I want to sell with you is your mate,” Alpha Homer said as his evil smile showed. Alpha Bryan didn’t bother to look at him, and he just watched his wristwatch to see the time.

“Alpha Homer Fin, we will pay you three times the price,” said Mason. Alpha Homer was amazed. He composed himself.

“Okay deal,” Alpha Homer said.

Alpha Bryan was still thinking of Andrea. Finally, the task was given to him by the Great Spirit Wolf almost near to its accomplishment. Alpha Bryan decided to go home first, and he left Mason and the two bodyguards to fetch Andrea.

As the sunlight enveloped the darkness, Andrea woke up in the forest. She didn't feel any pain in her body but only a cold because of the thin fabric that covered her body. She remembered everything before she lost consciousness. The hazel eyes she saw were forever planted in her mind. Alpha Bryan Williams. She thought as her lips formed into a smile. She felt happy because finally she can escape from her evil adopted family, but at the same time, Andrea was sad to leave the North pack because her memories with her father only live here in the North pack. If only the Alpha is as good as my father then I won’t be sad and feel responsible for what will happen in this pack in the future. She thought. Andrea tried to stand up even her knees were weak from the shifting.

“Good morning Andrea.” Diane, her wolf, greeted her. Andrea was startled, and she is still not used to hearing wolf’s voice in her head.

“Sorry, did I startle you?” Diane asked. She felt Andrea's heart beating in a nervous pattern.

“Don’t worry, I will get used to it. By the way, good morning Diane.” Andrea greeted her wolf as she got the clothes in her bag and wore them.

“Did you see our mate right? He is handsome and hot.” Diane said and Andrea felt that her wolf lost her mind. Andrea just chuckled.

“How can you say it when in fact you haven’t seen his human form?” Andrea asked Diane as she started walking back in the mansion.

“We, the wolves, can see our owners' memories. That explains why I saw our mate’s face. He is really handsome, hot and at the same time he is sweet when he is waiting for you down the long stairs.” Diane said as she thought of her mate.

Andrea is happy now and all she need is to think positive. She hopes that her mate, Alpha Bryan will love her. Andrea was excited to see her mate and maybe waiting for her in the mansion. As she rushed to the mansion, a male wolf was watching her. The male wolf was smiling. I’m wishing for your happiness. I’m glad you didn’t become like me. The male wolf thought and left.

When Andrea arrived in the mansion, she immediately searched for Alpha Bryan, but she couldn't find him. Mrs. Marie was waiting for her in the lobby.

"Alpha Homer was waiting for you in his office," said Mrs. Marie. Andrea just nodded. She was nervous of the thought that she could escape the cruelty of her adopted parents.

"Be brave Andrea, I'm here with you." Diane said, giving her courage. Andrea sighed and smiled. When she reached the door, she knocked three times.

"Come in," said Alpha Homer inside the office. When Andrea opened the door, she saw her adopted father looking at her seriously.

"Why did you call me?" Andrea asked him. Her heart starts racing in a nervous pattern. Maybe because she was facing the greedy old man.

"Sign the contract," said Alpha Homer as he showed the contract and pen to her.

"What contract is this?" Andrea asked, and she tried to read the contract, but Alpha Homer slapped the table which made Andrea startled.

"Just signed it immediately," Alpha Homer said. He tried not to give her a bruise and channel his anger to the table. Andrea was scared a little. She wanted to read the contract before signing it.

"Diane, help me. Should I sign it without reading the contract or not?" Andrea called her wolf. She really doesn't know what to do.

"Andrea, follow what's right for you. Don't let fear devour you." Diane said. With her words, Andrea felt a strange confidence and faced her adopted father bravely.

"No, Alpha Homer or should I say father Homer. Since I have the right to read what is on the contract," Andrea said. She was brave and confident now. The fragile and scaredy-cat Andrea a while ago is now gone. Alpha Homer was shocked by how Andrea disobeyed him. His anger boiled to the point he held Andrea's hair tightly. Andrea felt pain, but she didn't want her adopted father to do what he likes.

"Why are you so confident now? Because your mate is Alpha Bryan Williams? You pathetic woman. Even if your mate is a wealthy Alpha, he will never love you. You're just his decoration in his own paradise. If you do not sign it immediately, I will kill your childhood friend, Franklin if you don't sign it," Alpha Homer said wickedly.

"How could you? You are the worst," Andrea said as she glared at his adopted father. They were disturbed when someone knocked on the door.

"Alpha Homer, is Andrea Garcia here?" Mason asked from the other side. Alpha Homer let go of Andrea's hair, and he went back to his chair. Andrea immediately fixed her hair and a man that is not familiar to her opened the door. At first glance, Andrea describes him as a handsome tall man. He has a sculpted body and masculine body. He has a black long hair reaching his shoulders. The chocolate color of his eyes attracts Andrea. In other words, he is Andrea's type of man.

"Andrea, I know what you're thinking. Please don't betray our mate. You should feel attracted only to our mate." Diane warned her.

"Hey, don't be like that Diane. I'm only attracted to him, but I won't betray our mate. I can't do that. After all, I want to be loved by Alpha Bryan." Andrea was blushing because of what she said to her wolf.

"Finally, you said it. I know you fell in love with our mate the first time you saw him, but you just deny it to yourself. What made you admit it to me? Tell me." Diane was excited to hear how Andrea explained it to her. Andrea was about to answer when Mason smiled at her. Andrea blushed.

"Good morning, Andrea Garcia. I'm Mason Reyes, Alpha Bryan Williams right hand. Nice to meet you," Mason introduced himself to Andrea and reached his hand to Andrea to shake their hands.

"Nice to meet you too," Andrea said, and accepted Mason's hand. After they shake hands, Andrea took the opportunity to face her adopted father with her sweet smile.

"I will read the contract now," said Andrea. Alpha Homer has no choice but to let her read the contract. The moment that she read the contract, Alpha Homer thought that Andrea will not agree. That is why he used force to make his adopted daughter, Andrea, sign the contract but unlucky Alpha Homer, his plan was busted. As Andrea read the contract, she can't believe what is on the contract. Andrea looked at her adopted father. She tears the contract in front of Alpha Homer. Alpha Homer knows this will happen the moment Andrea became brave and confident a while ago.

"I won't sign the contract. I can visit this place whenever I want and also, I will not sign the contract so your position being Alpha is not valid. You can't stay longer being an Alpha. After I turn nineteen, I will claim my biological father's position as an Alpha," Andrea said and her determination was burning in her eyes. Alpha Homer laughed at what she said.

"You? A weak curse child will become an Alpha? Not going to happen," he said as he continued to look down on Andrea. Andrea clenched her fist.

"Mason, my meeting with this brat is now over. You can get her already," said Alpha Homer as he wickedly smiled. Mason was not happy about hearing what Alpha Homer said to his adopted daughter. He ignored Alpha Homer and faced Andrea with a smile.

"Today, you will become part of the South pack, and I am here to pick you up. Because you will become our Luna, Andrea," said Mason. Andrea didn't know how to react. She was happy that finally she could escape her adopted family's cruelty, but she was sad at the same time. Diane, her wolf, was happy to hear about Andrea becoming Luna to the other pack. Mason was furious on the other side. He wanted to kill Andrea but Alpha Bryan Williams already bought her. Without a doubt, Andrea genuinely smiles at Mason. Her smile was so precious and bright.

"I'm happy to come with you," Andrea said. Even Mason didn't escape to be attracted to Andrea's Sophisticated beauty.
