Chapter six

“Andrea, I’m excited to see our mate again,” said Diane with excitement.

“I’m excited to see how he leads his pack,” Andrea said.

The carriage was moving, and its roof opened automatically. Andrea was amazed. The sunlight from the outside enveloped the inside of the carriage. Andrea stood up in the carriage, raising her both arms and felt the cold wind breeze.

“Good morning new day,” she said out loud. Mason and the two guards were smiling because of the positive energy around Andrea.

The tall and wide wall of the border of the South pack is already in sight of them. Andrea dropped her jaw as she saw the incredible fortress of the South pack.

"Mason, tell me, is that the South pack?" Andrea asked incredulously while pointing in the direction in front of her.

"Yeah," Mason replied. When they arrived in front of the big tall golden gate, Andrea realized that she was gaping. She immediately closed her mouth and was embarrassed.

There were two guards guarding the outside of the gate, they opened it as they saw Mason and the two guards, and the carriage started moving again. The two guards seemed confused because of the new face in their sight. When Andrea entered the South pack, she was even more amazed at what she saw.

She could clearly see in her eyes that the wealth of the North pack is nothing compared to the South pack. The buildings here are very modern as well as the citizens of this pack. It seems like people are always at the grand ball party because of their modern stunning dresses. Andrea couldn’t believe that she would be here now.

“Holy cow. Why is this pack so wealthy?” Andrea asked Diane.

“Well I don’t know. But take a good look at the situation of this pack, Andrea. Our mate is indeed capable of everything. You were a slave for two years, and he came one day to get you from that cruel. This proves that life is fair,” said Diane.

“Maybe you are right,” Andrea agreed.

They went immediately to the castle where Alpha Bryan Williams resides. In their way, Andrea can’t stop drooling on everything she sees in her way. There are many tall buildings everywhere she looks. Andrea was really amazed. The castle was located in the central point of the area of the pack. Within forty-five minutes they arrived in the golden castle of the South pack. The royal guard opened the golden gate of the castle and the carriage was smoothly moving in on its way. The surroundings are full of Bermuda grass and high class plants that their pack never had. 

“This pack is on top of its glory. How did you manage to reach this glorious level of wealth?” Andrea asked in amazement for the pack, and it showed all over her face. The carriage stopped in front of the diamond door of the castle. Mason jumped out of the carriage and gave her a hand to get out of the carriage. Mason made a serene smile.

“You will learn soon,” Mason said. Andrea just smiled back at him. They enter the castle and many maids and servants are aligned to welcome her.

“Welcome to the South pack future Luna Andrea Garcia,” the maid greeted her in unison. Andrea was happy but she also felt embarrassed. She is not used to this kind of greetings anymore since Alpha Homer became the alpha. Andrea went back to her senses when she felt a pair of eyes was dragging her attention. Then, she saw the owner of the pair hazel eyes looking at her. My mate. Andrea and Diane thought in unison. Andrea felt like her feelings became high wire. Her surroundings become the universe, and she only saw her mate walking down in the diamond chandelier. Andrea's world stops when Alpha Bryan gives her a charming smile. She almost lost air in her lungs when she realized that she was holding her breath the moment she saw Alpha Bryan.

“I’m glad you came with your own decision,” Alpha Bryan said, and he got Andrea’s right hand. He kissed the back of her hand that made Andrea blushed and strangle the normal line pattern of her heart beatings. Her heart wanted to flee in its cage.

“Y-yeah,” Andrea said as she was stammering. She thinks that she let Alpha Bryan see that she was affected by the sweetness that Alpha Bryan showed to her. Then, Andrea realized that she felt a playboy attitude on him, but before she went overboard with judging him, she erased the thought like before she first judged him.

“That’s good to hear. I know you are hungry from the trip you had, so I prepared a welcome party for you. Everyone is eager to meet you. Come with me,” Alpha Bryan said as he offered his elbow to her. Andrea was a bit shy about clinging on his elbow, but she rather accepted his offer than to make him wait and rooting his legs on the ground.

They use the elevator to reach the second top floor of the castle where everyone is waiting. From the elevator, Andrea saw the landscape view in front of the South pack. Her eyes were sparkling. She never thought that she could see a beautiful view like this. In her whole life, she once wished for her father to see a view from the tall building, but the North pack doesn't have any tall buildings.

“Beautiful right? Once you will become Luna, you will own this pack.  Don’t you think you are so lucky to become instantly rich because of our bond mate?” Alpha said. The way the tone of his voice asked her the weird question, Andrea felt insulted. She felt like Alpha Bryan saying that she became rich because of his wealth. Without a thought, she removed her hand from him.

“Finally, you show your true nature. To answer your question, I’m not lucky to bond with two faces like you,” Andrea firmly said. She was right. Behind his sweet and gentlemanly gesture to her in front of many people he has a sly attitude when they are alone. Alpha Bryan chuckled to hide that Andrea was right.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make me look bad in your eyes. Actually, I’m glad to have a beautiful and strong mate like you,” Alpha Bryan said as he made a serene smile at her. Andrea blushed, so she turned away from him. She didn’t expect that coming from him. Andrea thought that he is really a smooth talker even though she judged him. But those blushes suddenly change when she remembers the fact about her being weak. Only her wolf is strong, but her body is weak.

“Hey, look at me,” said Alpha Bryan as he caught his face. At that moment, Andrea was swallowed in her thought and she didn’t notice that Alpha Bryan was about to kiss her, but she came back to her senses when the elevator opened. Everyone who was waiting for her was watching them. Andrea immediately kept her distance from Alpha Bryan, and she really felt embarrassed. Her face was red because many saw them in those kinds of situations. The thought of Alpha Bryan almost kissing her made her clenched her fist. Andrea wanted to jump out in the castle.

Andrea felt electrified when Alpha Bryan held her hand and they both went out in the elevator. There are five werewolves waiting for them. Andrea was still embarrassed, and she immediately pulled her hand from Alpha Bryan which made Alpha Bryan confused. Alpha Bryan knows that no one can refuse his touch, but she just voluntarily pulled her hand away from him. He was amused.

“Are you my son’s mate?” asked an old man in his fifties. Andrea was about to say a word, but Alpha Bryan answered for her.

“Yes father, she is the one,” Alpha Bryan said proudly that no one suspected that his pride was for the plan that was almost close to his goal using his mate.
