Chapter seven

Alpha Bryan's father was happy to hear that. They gave Andrea a warm smile. Andrea smiled. She was a little shy.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Andrea Garcia in the North Pack," Andrea introduced herself in front of Alpha Bryan's family as she bowed her head.

"We're also glad to meet you Andrea. I'm Kyle Williams, Bryan's father," Kyle Williams introduced himself. He is Bryan's father and former Alpha to the South pack. He is known for his kindhearted heart. Andrea smiled.

"I'm Andrew Williams, Brother Bryan's younger brother. This is my wife, Rebecca. This is my twin children, Venice and Vince," Andrew introduced himself and his family to her. Andrea was so happy to see how Andrew was proud to introduce his family to her. She saw in Andrew's eyes how he is happy with his family. Then, she learned that it is possible to have a family for the young member of the family if they found their mate. That explains that Andrew had his family before Alpha Bryan. Alpha Bryan made a fake cough, and he got everyone's attention.

"Let's have a seat now. The foods are waiting on the table," Alpha Bryan said. Everyone agreed and they headed to the table. Alpha Bryan put her hand on Andrea's waist that made Andrea distance herself immediately. It was her reflexes that made her step a distance away from Alpha Bryan. Andrea saw how Alpha Bryan furrowed his eyebrows. Did I make a bad move? Andrea thought to herself. After all, she is still not used to someone touching her waist freely. Again, Alpha Bryan tried to put his hand on her waist, but she just moved her distance away from Alpha Bryan's hand, and decided to sit on the chair. She felt embarrassed and a bit nervous whenever Alpha Bryan tried to touch her. She thinks that his touches make her electrified.

Bryan raised his left eyebrows for a second because of Andrea's behavior, but he understands why his mate acted that way because they don't still know each other that deeply. Alpha Bryan forgot that he needed to behave himself in front of his mate until he reached his goal. Poor Andrea, I'll use you for my own benefit. He thought, and his wicked smile showed for a second. He sat on the chair beside Andrea, and he put his hand on top of Andrea's hand. Andrea was about to pull her left hand from Alpha Bryan, but Bryan held her hand firmly, and he even kissed her hand which made Andrea blushed.

"I won brother Bryan. When you first lay your gaze on her, you will fall in love immediately. Look at yourself, you are really in love with your mate," Andrew said to his brother as he held his wife's hand, Rebecca.

Alpha Bryan smiled as he looked at Andrea's eyes that made Andrea felt uncomfortable. That is what I want you to see that I'm in love with my mate. Actually I'm not. This mate bond is the big joke of our kind that we can't escape. Then, I'll make use of this mate bond for good. Alpha Bryan thought wickedly.

Andrea felt that there was something odd she saw in her mate's eyes. She shook her head and let her mate hold her hand. She doesn't want to be rude in front of them, and also, her goal is to be loved by someone worthy of her love. Now that her mate is now on her side, she will take this opportunity to be loved by her mate.

"Now, let's eat. I know you are hungry from your trip," Alpha Bryan said to her, and he gave her a sweet smile as he lightly squeezed her hand. Andrea's heart was still pounding inside her chest. She just smiled at him, a sincere and sweet smile. But because of her smile, Alpha Bryan let go of her hand that made her confused. Andrea just shrugged her shoulders and started to eat. Everyone was watching her eating, and when Andrea realized that all eyes were staring at her, she stopped eating and looked at them. She's right, they are watching her.

"You have manners, Andrea. I'm glad you are my son's mate. So, do you mind telling us who your parents are?" Kyle asked her. She wiped her lips with the napkin on the table before she looked at Bryan's father.

"Let me introduce myself again, your highness," Andrea said, and she stood up.

"I'm Andrea Lopez Garcia. I'm the daughter of Sofia Lopez and David Lopez, the deceased Luna and Alpha of the North pack. The current Alpha of the North pack is my adopted father," Andrea said. When she introduced her adopted father to them, her voice suddenly changed into a flat and deep cold tone. Then, she snapped herself from that attitude she showed to them. Andrea felt like she was stupid for letting her hatred devoured for a moment when she remembered her adopted father. She sat down when Bryan's father motioned to her to sit on her chair.

"Oh, Alpha Homer didn't tell me about your real parents. So, in the end you are strong because the blood of an Alpha is running in your veins. Then, I'm too lucky to have you," Alpha Bryan said. Andrea was flattered to hear those words coming from Alpha Bryan's mouth. She confirmed to herself that her mate is an indeed smooth talker.

"This is a coincidence, when your father was alive, I always visited him in your pack. He is a good and excellent leader that is why I admire him. But, I was broken when I heard about him two years ago. I was about to adopt you at that time, but I heard that someone already adopted you, so I stopped my plan to adopt you. I'm glad to see you healthy, strong and beautiful," he said. Andrea gave him a genuine and serene smile. She wanted to tell him that she is not healthy because of her weak body, but she decided not to tell him or to anyone, even to her mate. Andrea chooses to keep everything negative to herself that will damage her image to them.

"Thank you, —" Andrea didn't finish talking when Alpha Bryan interrupted her.

"Call her father, Andrea. After all, he will become your father soon," he said to her and held her right hand. Again, her stable heart went rampaging inside her chest.

"My son is right, Andrea. I want you to call me father," Kyle said. Andrea was about to speak when Alpha Bryan looked at her.

"Andrea, the first day my eyes laid in yours, I know you are the one I've been looking for," he said. There is a lie about what he said to her. "I didn't expect that I am right because many gentlemen at that night waiting for your shifting, but then I'm wishing that you'll be my mate. And the moon goddess granted my wish. You became my mate," he added. Andrea was confused suddenly.

"Wait," Andrea said, but Alpha Bryan put his right index finger in her lips to seal her mouth. Everyone was watching them.

"I know you still don't know about me, and this is our second day of meeting each other. But for me, time doesn't matter, because I'm falling hard for you," Alpha Bryan said and smiled at her. But in Bryan's inner thought he was smiling wickedly. He stood up on his chair while still holding Andrea's hand, and he snatched a red small box in his pocket.

"I'm in front of my family to prove my love for you. Andrea, I wanted you to be with me forever. Will you marry me?" Alpha Bryan said and opened the box. There was a diamond ring inside the box. Everyone one was happy to see how Alpha Bryan made a vow to his mate in front of them. Andrea was nervous, and she can't distinguish if that nervousness is positive or negative. Everything was too fast for her. Everything was easy. Is this really why I wanted to be loved by my mate? He said he loves me. What will I say? She thought. Now she was having a hard time thinking.

"Do you want Andrea? You want to be loved by someone and Alpha Bryan can grant your wish for the love you seek," Diane said.

"Yeah you are right, but everything is too easy and fast, Diane. I'm afraid," Andrea said.

"Don't be scared Andrea. Remember that I'm always with you. But whatever your decision, I'll support you," Diane said. Her words made Andrea set in ease.

Everyone was nervous waiting for Andrea's answer. Andrea looked at Alpha Bryan's eyes. Bryan felt like Andrea's eyes were looking at his soul through his eyes. He admitted that Andrea was making him melt inside. There is something about her that made him lose his sight on his goals, but his mind told him to overcome those feelings because that will only make him weak. Andrea closed her eyes for a second and when she opened her eyes, she knew what she would answer.

"Yes," said Andrea. Everyone was finally breathing in relief because of Andrea's answer. For a moment, Alpha Bryan smiled widely, he put the diamond ring on Andrea's ring finger and kissed her on the forehead. That made Andrea caught off guard.

"Let's celebrate the coming birth of the Luna in our pack," Kyle said. Everyone raised their glass of wine in the air and tossed their glasses to each other. Andrea was feeling nervous, and she didn't know if her decision was right.

"So, when will you set the date of your wedding?" Andrew asked his brother.

"I'm planning next week, but I want to hear about Andrea's opinion," he said and looked at Andrea. Andrea blushed that made Alpha Bryan chuckle. She knows to herself that she is still not ready but in order to make Alpha Bryan stay in her life she must decide.

"I'm planning n-next year," she said while stammering. Alpha Bryan was not happy to hear her opinion. He was not happy because it is possible that his plan will be destroyed. He squeezed Andrea's hand and looked at her.

"I understand and respect your opinion Andrea, but I'm too in love with you. It's hurt and painful for me that I will wait for you for a year to marry you. I'm afraid that some other guys will snatch you away from me and I can't bear that pain," Alpha Bryan said. He is such a good actor in front of everyone. Andrea's heart was shaken a bit and the way Alpha Bryan said those words to her really got her. She looked away and hid her blushed. She took the bait.

"T-then, y-you decide," she said to Alpha Bryan. Everyone was happy to hear what Andrea said.

"I'm happy you let me decide. Then, next week will be our wedding," he said and kissed her hand. Andrea just nodded. She didn't expect these things to happen. The things that happened to her were too fast, but she needs to face it.

After they took the breakfast, Alpha Bryan led her to a room. Andrea was still unsure of her decision. She is still fighting with her inner self if it was a good decision or not. She sighed, and Alpha Bryan noticed it.

"Are you okay?" He asked while walking to a room.

"Yeah," Andrea said. She doesn't want Alpha Bryan to know that she is doubting the fast progress of their status. Alpha Bryan just smiled at her. They are on the last floor of the castle and there is only one room on that floor. Alpha Bryan opened the door and Andrea forgot all her worries when she saw the beautiful interior design of the inside of the room.

She went in, and her eyes were sparkling as she looked everywhere inside the room. Everything was made of rare stone.

"This is my room," Alpha Bryan said to her. Andrea's eyes were literally wide as soon as she heard what Alpha Bryan said.

"I'm speechless. But why are you showing me your room Alpha Bryan?" she asked as she raised her left eyebrow on him. Alpha Bryan just laughed at her.

"Drop the Alpha, Andrea. Call me Bryan or whatever you like. And also you will stay here in my room starting today," he said which made her step backwards from him. She didn't expect that she would stay in Alpha Bryan's room.

"I don't want to," she said. Alpha Bryan didn't like what she said. The door of the room automatically closed, and Alpha Bryan sat on his bed while looking at her.

"You have no choice, Andrea. It's better to sleep with me now. After all, we are engaged," he said. Andrea sighed and held her left temple. Alpha Bryan was right but for her everything is too fast, and she believes that something bad will happen after the fast things happened to her life.

"Still, I don't want to," Andrea said. Alpha Bryan was pissed to hear her answer, but he calmed himself.

"Then, let's have an agreement," Alpha Bryan said, which made Andrea look at him. Their distance still has a huge gap.

"What agreement?" Andrea asked him. Alpha Bryan looked at her seriously which made Andrea gulped.
