"How is it that you are my dad?" Liam asked the man. They were seated in the dark cave. The revelation that had just been brought to him was more than any shocker he had ever been given his entire life. 

"So you're trying to say that you can't even remember how your father looks? I thought you said he disappeared when you were ten," the red eyed man said. 

"Exactly. Emphasis on he 'disappeared'," he hissed. "How do you expect me to consider remembering a man who just up and abandoned me when I was being faced with the new burden of survival?" 

"That makes some sense," the man said. "But still, I think you should at least have a vague memory of what your father looked like." 

"To be honest, I do not care. But I do know that you did not have red eyes the last time I saw you. What's up with the change in colour?" 

The man regarded Cassarina and chose not to speak in her presence. "Anyway, my name is Arthur," he said instead. "
