He pushed her away. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" he asked while panting.  

"I- I'm sorry," she replied with her face to the floor.

He hissed. "Keep moving," he commanded.

"Alright," she said, raising her hands in mock surrender.

They got to her room, which was empty. "I thought your friends were here," Alaric said as he closed the door gently.

She sighed. "No one came to visit me," she said sadly. "My friends were meant to be here today but they canceled lady minute. Ever since my son became old enough to move around, most of them have been avoiding me." She bent her head low and sobbed.

Alaric stared at her in shock, words were far from his mouth. "You have a son?" he asked. "How? I never knew this and that's coming from someone who frequented this castle."

She smiled tiredly. "I had him as soon as you left," she said. "Since you left, one bad thing or the other has happened to me.
