Chapter 10: The Mermaid Princess

Elma's POV

'Who the fuck are you?"

I felt a grip on my shirt and in another second, I was pulled up by the bad guy. My heart jumped and dropped in utmost fear. This is getting worse.

Keeping my eyes shut, trying to get my senses together, I tried to focus on my feelings; the real mermaid feelings.

It doesn't matter anymore. Sooner or later, I'll have to do it.

Thinking, I surrendered to my real identity. I opened my eyes and glared at the guy.

The other one was in complete shock, as he watched my tail wave strongly before landing a hit at the bad guy's face.

He seemed stunned; holding his cheek with a pale face. I jumped up in air and did a swirl before taking a dip into the water. Again, resurfacing, I noticed the old man's scratched and bruised face. I felt bad.

He got it from helping me.
